This tour is excellent. Giovanni was our guide and incredibly knowledgeable about the history & culture of Sorrento. We'd walked around Sorrento before the tour but Giovanni brought the town to life and pointed out things we'd previously missed. You wander around the streets for about an hour then stop at a lovely, family run delicatessen for the most delicious cheese & cold meats (& wine of course) before heading into another shop for some limoncello & sweet treats. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and felt we learnt something about Sorrento which would not have been possible without Giovanni.

Amazing hike with Nino! Learned so much about the history of the area and the nature along the hike!! And lunch at the shepherds hut was such a special experience - we loved the cheese, homemade bread, pancetta, wine - a phenomenal time!! Even the two teenagers on the hike with us were entranced and couldn’t get enough! I can only highly recommend Nino and the hike to anyone interested! Our pickup in Sorrento was well organized and on time! The little stories that Nino told along the way made this a most memorable experience for all of us! Grazie prego Nino!

One of the best guided hikes we have been on and we have been on many. This one definitely ranks near the top. Nino is a knowledgeable and friendly guide who goes the extra mile to make sure everyone has an excellent experience touring this beautiful region. Highly recommend and I would do this one again. Thank you Nino!

I was super keen to experience this hike and the reality lived up to my high hopes. Very easy to book and the pick up point was clearly identified and unmissable. As it was raining very heavily in the early hours of the day I had booked, I sent a message at 6.45am to check if going ahead and received a positive reply within under 10 mins. Very reassuring. We were met ahead of time at the pick up point and on our way. Comfortable vehicle, quick comfort break before joining our guide Antonio and setting off on a scenic clamber. Antonio was funny and knowledgeable and careful of safety. A wonderful few hours. Only a couple of kms in distance but hard on knees and ankles. Wear proper shoes, have a bottle of water and enjoy the beautiful landscape. I will repeat the experience and recommend this company.

Out of our 11 days in Italy, encompassing Rome, Sorrento and Florence, this was our favorite experience. Hiking the path of the gods is an experience unlike any other you will have while in Italy. We left Sorrento around 8AM and found the meeting spot with ease. We then loaded onto a small bus and drove around 1-1.5 hours to the trail head. We met our guide, Antonio at the small city square and were allotted time to use the facilities or grab a coffee.

Antonio was an amazing guide and really played a role in making the experience so great. He stopped at all of the perfect spots to make sure we got the best photos. One fun thing, he picked several herbs and tested our knowledge on them. The hike can be difficult at some spots, notably steep, and can require the use of hiking poles. I highly suggest utilizing the hiking poles provided by the company. Make sure to wear tennis shoes with good tread or hiking shoes. There is a lot of loose dirt that can make your feet slip out from underneath you. I advise you walk sideways down the steep areas.

Halfway in to the hike, they will take you to a shepherds hut for lunch. This was an amazing experience and opportunity to immerse yourself in the culture. The meal was absolutely delicious: fresh goat cheese, zucchini, eggplant, honey, fruit and wine. The rest of the hike was equally as beautiful. At the end of the journey, we stopped back at a small cafe and enjoyed a frozen lemon and coffee slush (two separate drinks- don’t mix them lol).

If you are looking for an incredible, once in a life time memory, this is the excursion for you!

I booked this with a tour office in Sorrento. They checked availability by phone and I asked if pick up from hotel possible. The person on the phone confirmed they could and gave a time 8.10am as they would pick me up on the way out of Sorrento. I paid a deposit with a receipt detailing my pick up and contact number.
Next day, waited 40 mins outside my hotel before calling the number. I was informed there was no hotel pick ups and the tour had left without me.
I complained that someone should have notified me that there was no hotel pick up. No one phoned the hotel either.
Very disappointed as my last day. Be aware when booking.

Good tour with energetic guide.
Con: The booking said it was a 4 hour tour, including transportation, and it ended up being a 6 hour tour — 1 hour drive to train head, 4 hour hike, and 1 hour return. This was too long and made us have to rush to an evening activity. It was also a really, really hot day. Trail isn’t shaded and would say it’s moderately difficult. Lots of rugged steps and declines. Wouldn’t recommend for those who are concerned with balance and moderately difficult terrain.
Pro: energetic and nice guide (can’t remember his name but it’s similar to that of a plant, which was a fun story he shared. Bonus stop for fresh lunch, water, wine, and bathroom (€10 pp). Stunning views!!

We had just the best hike above the hills with Fulvio. We exchanged several emails beforehand and he always responded by return. He very kindly picked us up from our hotel as we couldn’t get to the meeting point early enough. We were only 5 in the group and Fulvio treated us all like old friends!! We had a good journey to Bomerano with an excellent driver. We started at a super friendly cafe with a coffee and bathroom stop! Off we went, with a walking pole thankfully provided! Much needed for balance in some parts. The walk was a bit tricky in parts, some high steps and a few stoney steps and slopes but wow so worth it!! Fulvio was very good at watching how we were all doing and slowed down accordingly when necessary and timed the photo opportunities well too!! He is just so knowledgeable of the area and made it all so interesting as well as obviously stunningly beautiful. Our stop at the shepherds hut was fabulous! Home made honey and bread and goats cheese…and a visit from Limoncello the donkey!!! Priceless! After a lovely break there we carried on a while then another break at a quirky wooden house for chilled ice drinks! The last bit of the walk got a bit hot but there are water taps here and there to splash yourselves and cool down!! The last stretch ended at the lovely cafe where we began with ice cold drinks which I promptly poured over my head!!! The whole route is spectacular for views and the stops are timed perfectly and the food and drinks were all included in the cost. This was definitely the highlight of our stay in Sorrento as it was away from the hustle of the towns and back to nature in a setting you just can’t imagine until you see it. Absolutely fabulous, well worth the cost for the amazing stops that you probably wouldn’t find by yourself and the brilliant skill and humour and kindness of our guide Fulvio. We cannot praise this enough! Grazie mille Fulvio!

The stop at the shepherds hut was the highlight. And Nino’s commentary about Sorrento history and development was the icing on the cake. A must do if you are in Sorrento
