This beach takes you back in time in a very elegant fashion. You feel like swimming and sun bathing in 1920s! The historical identity of the beach is very well preserved with its cabinets, sunbeds, long chairs, food and drinks, service... We loved it. We...More

Great spot to relax for the day. We arrived early at about 9.30am on a Tuesday shortly after they opened and were basically the first ones there - we got two loungers on the far pier facing the water. It cost €13 each for a...More

We checked out 4 different private beach areas while in Sorrento. IMO this is the best. The trick to these in my experience is to know that you are going to pay probably more than you think is right. Once you get past that, pretty...More

The main beach area in Sorrento is reached either by a fairly steep, long walk, a road, again a long walk or the lift (Elevator) from the area by the art gallery. 1 euro single or 1.80 return, worth every penny, beware long queues at...More

Just in Sorrento for the day and after a short walk around the shops, we headed back down to the beach/port area. We stumbled across Leonelli’s beach club/restaurant and had a few drinks and lunch, great food & service in a great location.

This place is a “must experience” while in Sorrento! There are quite a few beach clubs near the port in Sorrento but Leonellis is the place to go! This is a family owned establishment that has been there for years. The staff is extremely friendly...More
