About
Inspired by the “Three Tenors” concerts by Luciano Pavarotti, Placido Domingo and Jose Carreras, Opera e Lirica presents famous Italian opera arias from Tosca, La Traviata and L’Elisir d’amore and the most beautiful Neapolitan songs, like “O’sole mio” and “Torna a Surriento”. Be enchanted by the voices of our Three Tenors resounding in the magnificent halls of the Correale Museum of Terranova

- hettie57Stirling, United Kingdom207 contributionsBirthday TreatAbsolutely fantastic and intimate performance! Would highly recommend! Superb musicians and wonderful evening. Lovely chilled glass of Prosecco prior to the performance starting and a wander round the gardens.Visited June 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 20 June 2023
- Curiosity32728232620Birmingham, United Kingdom5 contributionsA great experience for me, who's not an opera buff. The tenors seemed very talented and injected fun too.I'm not usually an opera fan, my partner was keen, but this was fantastic. A lovely, intimate setting (maybe 100 people). The performance had enough pieces I knew and some humour (I didn't know opera could be fun!), to keep me entertained. We booked in advance at the hotel and paid on arrival, it seemed to be sold out. The only seats available were the back 3 rows (€45 each), which were fine as the venue is so small - I personally wouldn't pay the extra €40 each to sit at the front. Although maybe 10 people in front of us insisted on filming it on their phones (and a giant iPad) which was annoying.Visited June 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 26 June 2023
- 45micoopBillericay, United Kingdom132 contributionsWonderful highlight of SorentoAMAZING!! My wife and I found this to be one of the most special evenings watching a performance we have ever had. The 3 piece orchestra and 3 tenors were magical especially in this intimate museum venue. We laughed and cried listening to the performances. They interacted with the audience with humour and grace. Thank you for this special momentVisited July 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 16 July 2023
- Mhairi TMaidstone, United Kingdom99 contributionsA ‘must do’We had such a beautiful evening, gentle humor, wonderful musicians and singers, and the venue is gorgeous. We arrived at 8pm but didn’t need to be so early as the grounds are pretty but small. I’d probably aim for 8.30 next time. You can go up to the room before 9pm, where seats are allocated according to your price banding. I wasn’t sure if we could take photos but I asked afterwards and it seemed it would be ok. There’s a small break between the two parts. There are loos on the left as you go in, men’s and women’s cubicles are in the same location (but separate).Visited August 2023Travelled with familyWritten 11 August 2023
- Alicats116Irvine, United Kingdom60 contributionsWonderful Not to be Missed ExperienceA wonderful evening of first class entertainment. Room in Museum holds around 100 guests and acoustics were amazing. The Three Tenors were accompanied by a cellist, violinist and pianist. The audience participation in some of the well known arias was fabulous and fun. At the end of the evening, which lasts around 90 minutes with a 15 min break, the Tenors meet guests in the lovely gardens for photo opportunities. Overall, a fabulous evenings entertainment and certainly one not to be missed.Visited September 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 24 September 2023

- Angela M1 contributionUplifting, but made me tearful at timesLovely experience. I was travelling solo in October 2022 and had to go again. Small, beautiful venue. By chance, it was literally a 3 minute walk from my hotel. Extremely uplifting. The performers were so very likeable on top of having beautiful voices. I literally tapped the sole of off my brand new posh sandals! BRAVOVisited April 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 5 February 2024

We have visited for the 4th time.
Things have changed since covid.
Booked through TUI. We asked for rows 1 or 2. We weren't told that our tickets were for row 4. My view was totally obscured by the head of the woman sat in front of me.
I asked the person who was seating us why we weren't told we'd be in row 4 and recieved a dismissive response. I was surprised that as row 2 wasn't filled that we weren't moved to row 2. €60 is more than I'd expect to pay at home for a show. Especially with an obscured view.
We were disappointed that the pianist, violinist and chellist didn't perform as they had in the previous pre covid performances. Also the change of performance songs/performances were more opera focused.
It was advertised as a 90 minute performance, however the total time was 80 minutes with a 15 minute performance break.
We felt it was a very expensive 80 minutes.
They didn't advise that it's €5 each for a small prosecco pre show. We were sure that VIP tickets included a drink pre covid.
The perfomers have great voices and are clearly talented. As are the musicians.
Such a shame not to hear the musicians perform alone.
Taxis to the event cost circa €40 when we were advised €35 ...
