Four of the highest towers in Spain concentrated on a handkerchief outside the grounds of the old city. Just 2 stops with the metro from Santiago Bernabeu. One of the towers is a design from the visionary Norman Foster.
My wife and I went to the Cuatro Torres Business Area and saw the amazing modern skyscrapers there. All of these buildings were made by famous international architects and they represent Modern Madrid.
These 4 modern skyscrapers are the new Madrid. Tall, glass, stainless, with modern sculptures, this redevelopment of the old sports plaza underscores again the Madrileno culture. Not only is the area well done, it is tastefully separated visually from the old town.
The towers in the business area can be seen from a distance as they are very high.
It is a totally different scene compared to the usual historic buildings we come across in the city centre, and definitely worth coming here for photos at least....More
