The Tablao de Carmen pays tribute to the great flamenco dancer, Carmen Amaya, born in 1913 in the gypsy quarter of Somorrostro which then existed in what is today Barcelona's Olympic Village. Carmen Amaya made her debut in 1929 before King Alfonso XII on the site which is today the Tablao de Carmen at the inauguration of Poble Espanyol de Montjuic.

Great atmosphere. An intimate setting with the tables close to the stage. We started with tapas, generous portions of 6 different items, plus your choice of sangria, wine or beer. The sangria was excellent! The service was great. The flamenco show lasted about an hour....More

this is set in a little 'fake' village that showcases the various regions of Spain. I found it adorable. the good thing is that normally there is admission to pay to just go into the village, but the flamenco tickets include the price of admission....More

Booking in advance via a well known site got a discount that made the dinner/show option worthwhile. Booking in advance also gets you into the Pablo Espanol free (worth 14 e) and it was more picturesque than expected. As others have said, we looked round...More

I would definitely recommend this flamenco show compared to others because of the village area it is in. Show, food, and drinks were all excellent. If you are doing the dinner show, make sure to arrive early so you can walk around the village and...More

As our group entered this very "touristy" area of Barcelona, I expected something other than what we experienced at the Tablao de Carmen Flamenco show. I had low expectations as I have seen exquisite nighttime shows in other parts of Spain. BUT, this one was...More
