Beautiful harbour with a few nice restaurants and bars. If you buy a load of bread you can feed the thousands of fish which is quite good fun. For birdwatchers this is a good spot for Kentish Plover, Common Sandpiper and Turnstone.

for a short stroll. Pretty fishing boats in the lagoon and look out for rather big fishes swimming near one of the bridges. A picturesque sight for pics!

As above, can’t fault it. Lots of different restaurants along the way and plenty of interesting statues with interesting facts. It’s a must go to place

A charming, fully enclosed body of water, close to but apart from the sea, with small boats and a line of restaurants on one side.

This is a picturesque area with some nice looking cafes and bars to take a break at. There are also some nice sculptures dotted around the area. Not somewhere I would rush to see but if you are in the area it’s nice enough.

It is a pleasant 20 minute walk from El Reducto beach to the restaurant strip of the Charco. On Saturday there is a small farmers market by the church in El Charco de San Gines.

I concur with the last poster. There may well be apartments adjacent to the harbour, so I suggest you contact the tourist board in Arrecife and I am sure they will be able to give you a definitive answer. Regards... More
