Not quite as steep as some of the roads in the older quarter of Granada. Very busy with pedestrians and road traffic; only taxis and the mini electric buses can use this road but as it is very narrow in places you do sometimes have...More

This is the start of the path they called Paseo de los Tristes (Promenade of the Sad Ones) because the funeral processions used to pass here en route to the cemetry. The river to the right, just under The Alhambra, is more like a stream...More

This is a picturesque street beside the river with the Alhambra on the hill looming above you. There are pleasant restaurants and ancient buildings along the way. Each time we walked up here we discovered something new: whether that be the ancient Islamic baths, a...More

The only place in Granada where the little River Darro can be seen. (It runs mainly underground). Take a stroll, there are small shops and bars.

Ever walking along or driving up in taxi towards San Nicolas, it’s worth the while. Peek into the litte alleyways and streets that veer off it, picturesq!

Stroll along the river that sits way below the Alhambra complex and you will find lovely architecture and some nice places to stop for refreshments at the large square before the road turns up the hill.

This is a medieval street, very narrow, with red busses traveling it every 15 minutes. However, it goes alongside of the Río Darro and is enchanting for a walkup to the entracnce to La Alhambra.

Had an evening meal and few drinks here and it was superb. Amazing cod dish washed down with some great red wine. The service was outstanding with a smile. The location of the window seats was great too watching world go by. Thank you.

Nice walk along the Darro river. You can sit at a cafe at sunset and watch the sunset on the Alhambra.
