For us this was a bit of a disappointment sadly. There are so many other really pretty, less commercialised and more intimate little plazas in the old town that are a delight to come across as you wander around. it was a rainy Sunday afternoon...More

Now that the beachside paths stretch from Estepona to Marbella, more people than ever are taking advantage of this amenity. Because of this we tend to avoid the stretch at San Pedro de Alcantara because it is too busy on weekends, especially with noisy children....More

We parked free of charge next to the marina and walked along here, then spent the day on the beach. Nice and flat but can get very hot mid afternoon. Nice sandy beach and inflatable play area on the sea for a charge. However, on...More

coming into town from the bus station and later heading further west to the marina, we walked a good part of the long paseo maritimo. Very pleasant easy walking. Heading west, the you see the profile of Gibraltar and beyond that the mountains of Morocco.

They have done such a good job in creating a really pleasant promenade that is so nice to stroll along. The promenade is punctuated with rest areas, play areas for kids and restaurants and so well maintained and so clean and tidy.

Estepona's 2 kilometre long paseo is a delight from the old lighthouse in the west to the cliffs in the east.. On one side the blue Mediterranean, on the other colourful flower beds. Chiringuitos provide ample opportunities to stop and enjoy the vista. The paseo...More

Swing parks for children, benches in the shade to sit and contemplate the sea view. Lovely place for an early morning or late evening stroll or just to sit and chill.
