The Oratoria Santa Cueva, an 18th century church with two sanctuaries, one underground. It is not easy to spot as the unassuming facade blends in with the other plain facades of other building on the street. We managed to gain admittance to attend mass there....More

English language handout given if you wish included in the €3 entry. Impressive ornate alter, interesting political history. Worth 20mins.

This little chapel is a jewel--if you are lucky and walk upstairs where it is located. Visitors tend to go downstairs where there is nothing but a couple of plain religious images that you could find anywhere. there is a ticket agent at the entrance...More

this is a very special hidden church on rosario, on 3 floors. it was free on sunday. the upstairs part is exquisitely ornate with reliefs and 5 goya frescos. just perfect on a rainy day. the haydn music just adds perfectly to the overall atmosphere....More
