A must see attraction
Apr 2018 • Family
We have visited this tower with a group of nine people.
The exhibition is really interesting and offers a lot of things to discover. This applies for smaller kids and adults alike.
We have booked a guided tour which I would recommend to not miss any highlights.
One important advise: the tower is not really heated. So make sure that you have warm cloth on during winter times.
I am sure that we will visit the tower again.

Fascinating and a wonder to visit!
Aug 2017 • Family
I highly recommend going here with the whole family or even alone. Fascinating contraptions, history, just sheer fun for kids. Lovely park too! If you walk around, you will see apple trees.... people were picking them. Looked amazing. Can't get enough of this park. Love Magdeburg because of this place!

History of Science
Oct 2017 • Family
At first we thought the building was a helter-skelter ride! Once inside each level opened the door to ever-increasing scientific discoveries. This is a monument to science from the Egyptians to the present day. The circular walk down the outside of the tower offers up spectacular views of Magdeburg & the surrounding area.

Not to be missed !
Apr 2017 • Friends
When in or around Saxony-Anhalts state capital Magdeburg this is a park plus a beautiful, "hands-on", interactive museum. History, Physics, Medicine, Astronomy - they all come to life in this ingenious and beautiful wooden tower where you spiral your way up or down the different disciplines and centuries. From the outside viewing platform at the top your view will capture the Elbe river, the mighty Magdeburg cathedral ("der Dom") and the meandering paths across a large and pleasant park that has been created out of what used to be a vast former military training ground. At the bottom the museum restaurant awaits - whilst Foucaults pendulum keeps swinging away. Highly recommended for adults and children alike !

Difficult to enter
Jul 2016
This is a modern commemorative garden opposite a traditional set of buildings. It was built for the millennium and has large spread. It has a spiral kind of building at its core and an aquarium and other smaller attractions around. Its like a big picnic and family garden. However, the gate to its real; entry is difficult to locate.many people park around it and then run or jog around it rather than within it.Not really worth the trouble to find it.

Little museum in the tallest wooden tower of Europe
May 2014 • Friends
Again, this is part of the "Elbauenpark". This place is one huge museum in the inside, which you can climb up and go through the ages of human technology up to modern age at the very top. Beautiful

In this tower you see a journey trough the history. In the basement are mammots skeleton and pyramids etc and inthe upper levels comes the history more and more modern. Romanesque water station with water weel and aquaduct and medeal eval things up to exploring optical instruments and astro telescope and electronical gadgets. All is combined with alot of experiments so you and particulary your childs can grab the history. Its a interesting exibition in a nice envoirement.ont more not less. Good for some hours with kids.

It's just great. And if you're traveling with children, you have to visit it. I behaved like one and was really impressed by the idea. Lots of fun. In Winter closed.
