Thoroughly enjoyed our evening at Haus Lemke. Came with a group of friends. The beer tasting was good and is a great way to taste different beers. The food was delicious I would highly recommend the meatballs! Great atmosphere and great food and drinks. What more can you ask for. However the service wasn't as great, the server was mildly abrupt and didn't seam overly joyed to serve us. But we overlooked this as it was a great evening. …

There was no tour at Haus Lemke, just a chance to walk through the building and the grounds, but it was worth it. It was particularly interesting to see one of Mies's earlier buildings.

I went here twice during a recent stay, and the first time was great, delicious beer and bar snacks. The gentleman who served us was fantastic. I decided to return a few nights later and I was greeted with a surly inattentive waiter. We seated ourselves, a cook delivered the food, and a young lady cleaned the table. All this waiter did was take the order. After we had finished we got sick of waiting and went to the bar to pay. After a long wait, the waiter came up and said we couldn't pay using visa because the machine was broken. I knew this was a lie because of my earlier visit and eventually he swipped the card and it worked. He then said his tip was extra. After I refused he started rudely, "very friendly". I left here sad because my first experience was so good. A due waiter that preys on tourists. If you speak English, avoid because they may seek to rip you off.…
