I had heard about the Nuremburg trials but to actually visit the courtroom and see all of the history and information behind the trials was really eye opening. I'm one of those people who gets bored quickly in museums but I was totally enthralled here. The audio guides where brilliant and even included in the entrance fee. We were able to visit the actual courtroom, which is still in use today so some days you may not be able to visit it.

This is the court building, where the trials following the Second World War took place in 1945 to 1949. It is located in the western part of the city and there is a U-Bahn stop (Bärenschanze) within a short walk. The exhibits are extensive and describe the background and progress of the trials in a very good and thoroughly way. Several interesting details if you are interested in these historic trials. Also, it is possible to visit Courtroom 600. The trials later influenced international law on war crimes, and this is also described.

Interesting place to visit. You are able to seat in the room where the trials took place. They have a documentation area throughout with displays.

Really informative visit. Learnt how important the Nuremberg Trials were in holding those responsible for genocide to account. Was lucky enough to see the courtroom itself aswell, as it isn't always open.

It was an impressive visit. With many photos and much information about the trials. The visit took about 1,5 hour to view everything.
