This mini bar is a hidden pearl in Munich. It's literally micro and It's strongly recommended to get a place (chair or table) very early.. otherwise it would be extremely hard even to enter. Perfect place where to drink a cocktail in a cozy and familiar bar while listening to jazz

Under the week it is mostly empty but has a nice old school cosy atmosphere with decent cockails. From friday on it becomes packed with public coming to ear some well crafted jazz. I wondered during my first visit (under the week) where would the public fit. On the weekend it is surprising to see homlw many people fit in such tiny place. It is definitively an authentic and out-of-the-ordinary place in munich that really comes to life on concert evenings (mostly every weeks friday & saturday).

I have not much to say besides that I adore this place. It is small, packed up to the backseats next to the storage room, it is always very hot inside and Mister B manages it all on his own, BUT there's always great music and a great vibe. Maybe it is just me, but I seriously don't care which beer/how many sorts of wine they serve at a jazz club, it's not what I go there for :) It is mostly recommended for the jazz lovers and it's a very cozy place, where people from very different social groups share a very little space and a common interest in music.

This Jazz bar has it all, the vibe, the feel, the sound, excellent drinks and a great owner/bartender. It is probably the only Jazz bar in Munich that is strictly Jazz, open till 3am (lots of times it is more) and the only Jazz bar where you can sit and have an interesting chat with the bartender. If you are ever a Jazz fan, you have to visit this place.

The bar is really small, you must come right after the opening to get a good seat. The music is very nice, jazz standards and the service is good, HOWEVER (I took out points for that), he sells a bier on the Menü and gives another one, basic Augustiner, not the one on the menü, I didn´t like that. Music starts at 21:30 and the place is really close to the station Goetheplatz (U3/U6). He serves peanuts with the drinks. The prices of the drinks are average, but very tasty.
