This sight is worth to see. The building is located in the center of Munich old town. The architecture including the "Klockenspiel", clockwork with it's moving figures and playing music is something very rare nowadays as a workin apparatus. The New Town Hall (German: Neues Rathaus) is a town...More

The building is very impressive and a great meeting place. There is a restaurant in the courtyard and a winebar and restaurant underneath the Town Hall.

We did the on/off bus tour and timed getting to the square for the clock to chime. Worth waiting for 45 minutes. We found chairs and just enjoyed people watching while we waited. Impressive building and we enjoyed old down town.

Very impressive building. The centre of the old town. Easy to get to with the train station very close. Close walk to Hofbrauhaus also.

I love the architecture! This is in the shopping area so it is real easy to find. It can get crowded around times that the clock rings but it is worth the visit.

It is in Marienplatz which is a busy square with several other tourist attractions and a shopping area. There are cafes and restaurants including one in the Rathaus itself.
