We only saw this from outside but it was very impressive. The architecture is marvelous and well worth a few photos especially so of the detail.

This is on the audio tour of Rouen. We viewed the building from outside and the history is displayed on boards outside. It is worth going around the side of the building to view the bomb damage from the Second World War, it really brings...More

One of if not the most important examples of civil Gothic architecture in France. It has been recently restored. Sadly enough the splendid Grande Chambre is rarely open to visitors.
