In a city of wonderful visitor attractions, the Palais de Justice rightly takes its place. It is a magnificent example of Medieval French architecture, standing proudly in the centre of the city. The walls all show signs of the fighting in the city in 1944.

An enormous building in the typical French white regional sandstone. It is plentiful decorated for a former House of Parliament. Unfortunately though, on one side of it is an enormous amount of marks of shrapnel and bullets. Maybe for the remembrance ?

What an impressive building. When walking around in Rouen, it is hard to miss this amazing building. It is a pity that you cannot visit this from the inside, but it is already fantastic to see this from the outside.

These law courts are closed to the public but this should not stop you from visiting to see for yourself this outstanding example of late medieval gothic architecture.
