We stopped while walking through Le Havre and enjoyed our visit to the Cathedral. As others have mentioned, it was significantly damaged during WW II, but is nicely reconstructed. Don't miss the crucifix that is almost completely undamaged despite being right in the middle of the bombing. We are glad we spent the time to visit.

A nice little church not far form the port which became the town cathedral in the 1970s, it was bombed during the war so parts are restored. Very nice inside and worth a few minutes of your time to visit.

While the main Church of Le Havre is the modern one of St. Joseph which was rebuilt from total rubble after WWII, this one is a classic Cathedral which was reconstructed after the devastations.
It stands in the southern part of Le Havre among new residential house blocks. It's a nice 16 c Baroque Cathedral worth a look while exploring the city.

the barock cathedral of Le Havre is in reconstruction and therefore packed behind curtains for a big part. but anyway it is not too much of a beauty.

Rebuilt after severe war damage and currently undergoing more work which has covered the building in scaffolding. Bit of a search for an open door and the inside was rather gloomy, although to be fair the day was dull. Very fine once my eyes adjusted.

The church is attached to the much older bell tower, which miraculously survived the bombs of world war 2. The church itself was meticulously rebuild after the war. Somewhat dark inside, and rather empty, it is a rather monumental space inside.

We were in Le Havre at Easter and stood outside to listen to the music and singing before going inside. The church suffered heavy damages during the Second World War but has been lovingly rebuilt and restored. There is a free leaflet just inside the main door in English to help your tour.

Major renovations underway but looks like a beautiful Cathedral and well worth a visit.
Car parking available on the street and located in a quiet area of Le Harve. Easy to find if you are coming from the Port. Just follow the signs for city Centre.

This church boasts some striking architecture. There is a lot of history about the church inside and how it survived WWII.

A small church but lovely inside. Interesting to see the photos of how damaged this building was after WW2 and what a great job had been done of restoring it.
