It's always a serene and upscale garden to visit even in cold weather. Lots of places to sit and rest and observe. Beautiful mansions are all around the park. Some intentionally place scuplture and landscape design placed all around. This is a designed garden for a rich neighborhood.

One of the most beautiful parks in Paris. A quiet oasis in the middle of the city, you can see ducks, turtles, fish in the pond and a lot of dogs.

Our favorite Parc when we visit Paris. The Metro stop at Monceau is right in front of the Parc entrance. We always bring a lunch and a bottle of Champagne for our visit.
They also have a very pretty Carousel.

The most beautiful Parisian park, extremely calm and very suitable for relaxation. There is a very nice lake and the neighborhood around it is also very peaceful

Parc Monceau was an attraction to several Impressionist artists who painted en plein air more than once in their careers. And no wonder! It's a beautiful city park with numerous attractions: statues of famous French figures, including Chopin playing at his piano; Roman colonnade; Egyptian pyramid; Rialto bridge; Renaissance arch from the Paris City Hall; and others. There is a carousel, playground, walking paths, a concession stand (yummy gelato!), and other amenities. The Parc is surrounded by luxury apartment houses and mansions, some housing arts museums. The day we were there, the Parc was filled with people. The only drawback was the benches being unfit for sitting; too many birds in the vicinity!!

You can easily spend here 2-3 hours. The Parc Monceau is conveniently located between two museums - Jacquemart-Andre Museum and Museum Nissime de Camondo. This is a great spot for picnic and stretch your legs after an exhausting walk around the city or after visiting museums, find a public toilet and a small cafe here, as well as fill bottles with drinking water, feed ducks and swans, ride children on a carousel and just walk through an elegant park, breathe peace and fresh air.
Open daily 7 am - 10 pm, metro station Monceau stop. Enjoy, you are in Paris!

This is one of Paris' most beautiful parks probably because it is located in one of the wealthiest neighborhoods. Everything about it is very posh. But it is open to all and you can feel comfortable sitting on one of the many benches or on the grass, or wandering admiring the statues and other odd art.

There are way too many people there. Most of them jogging, doing some outdoor sport. If you look for some me-time, a nice, calm walk, this is not the place.
At the same time, the park is beautiful, worths a visit

We will be in Paris next week with our 6 yr old. Do they have pony rides still in November? Is there enough for a kiddo to do? We practically lived in Jardin du Luxembourg last visit so we want a new park. Ponies are important ;)

Hi! I'm late but I think I've got good informations. There are ponneys in Parc Monceau, as well as in many of parks and gardens in Paris. You have to check on the people who deal with this in Paris: ANIMAPONEY - rides when weather is fine, nearly everyday, surely on Saturday, Sunday and Wednesday
email contact ( I 'm not authorized to give you directly a website here - i don't know why ! ) Let's try to be useful: you put on: three w; then: dot, then: " celinebailly "
(linked and of course without quote marks ); then: dot; and at last: fr for France. OK?
