It was my 3rd time visiting Eiffel tower! A lot of things changed since.
Now the area around Eiffel Tower is gated and you have to pass metal detector to come in. Then you have to head to tickets sale office ( there are few) I still didn't got what is difference. We went for the elevator ride. Sales tickets Lady told us we can't get to summit ( because it doesn't work) but later we saw people were going to summit. I don't know why she said that but we were pretty upset.
Anyways amazing views, however it took almost 40 minutes to get down. Some portion of Eiffel tower was under construction.

Fun place to stop by to get a few photos but wouldn't bother with formal tours and lift tickets. It's particularly muddy there in winter because they are doing lots of construction work around it so keep that in mind.

Only managed to get to 2nd floor as top was closed for maintenance work. My own honest opinion is that I was not impressed and found it costly. Much better view from top of Arc de Triomphe.

What else there is to say? This tower is imposing and perfectly complements the surroundings of Paris.
During our visit, we got lift tickets to both the second floor and the top. Both viewpoints were worth visiting. But many people would prefer to see the tower itself so people don't book it anymore, but as a first-time visitor, it is understandable to splurge to get a viewpoint at the top.
The view of the Seine River, Trocadeiro, La Defense, Hotel des Invalides were totally unrivalled at both viewpoints.
Lots of lineups. If you pre-reserved a ticket, there will be a line for your designated entry time. There will be two security checkpoints: one entering the grounds, and another one at the base of the tower itself. The elevator ride from the second floor to the top was enjoyable, and the views totally amazing, both towards the city and at the curved rails that the elevators follow (well essentially it's a funicular). The elevator back from the second floor to the first floor took 4 roundtrips before our turn. So that was insane. Would rather go back down by stairs instead of elevator, but we were deep in the line already.
Would totally come back again though!

Not much has changed since my last visit almost a decade ago, still lots of people illegally selling affordable trinkets which is just part of the Eiffel tower experience XD. Unfortunately because of the crowds the green space in front of the Eiffel has been boarded off which does ruin the vibe a little but completely understandable in preventing it all becoming mud.
I recommend walking down the seine just before dusk to watch the Eiffel tower lights turn on and get some pictures of it shining in the dark - for a short period of time the lights sparkle light crazy

I really didn’t enjoy it. Came here with my husband, who was in awe and took many pics (his first time), but I came here few times a couple of years back and the Eiffel Tour was much better! When we arrived, the amount of street hawkers trying to sell to us was so overwhelming. My husband had to scare one away at one point because they come too close. We were there at night so the lights were beautiful yes, but we decided to leave early.

Excellent structure to examine close. . .the tower was being revised and fenced entirely; just walking around the fence was a rewarding experience. . .in June during warm weather. Hopefully it will be open soon. While you are in Paris. . .do visit the Notre-Dame of Paris. . .it unfortunately burned and is under repair but worth a visit to walk around the outside. . .it will also be open soon. Also, see the Louvre. . .the most visited art museum in the World. Be sure to visit La Defense in the business district of Paris. . .the most recent addition and a worthwhile experience!

A compra foi efetuada no site da Torre Eiffel
Recomendo a aquisição com vários dias de antecedência, pois alguns horários (os melhores, ou aqueles que possam se adequar a sua agenda) podem estar esgotados.

Hello, I'm sorry but, the only place I know of is leaving them at hotel. We did this when we went to visit Palay le Monial & left luggage at hotel for a couple of days. From the sound of it though, it looks like you'll just be passing through.

Buonasera, sono sul sito ufficiale ma non mi fa prenotare biglietto secondo piano più cima. Dice solo in loco. Com'è possibile? Grazie a chi vorrà rispondermi!

If I book tickets for the 2nd floor online can I buy tickets for the summit on the day when I’m there as it’s sold out online

Continued: from Rose...when we looked into guided tours, they were offering them with tx to the summit. Hence we opted for the guide in order to get to the summit. In my opinion, they only have a limited # of "general" tx to summit and the rest may be held for the tour guide patrons. Anyhow, the guide was the seamless way to go and very informative. Price point was good also! Would highly recommend to avoid any long ques.

What’s going on in October with the Eiffel Tower? There is no availability at all from 7th Oct

Hi Lillypod:
Availability: Not sure about the tour eiffel bookings, why there aren't any availabilities, but I see that Jules Verne has lunch slots for Oct 25 and beyond. Jules Verne is the michelin star restaurant in the south pillar, which has a private platform only for patrons of the restaurant. The restaurant is expensive, but this is a bucket list experience, you will never forget, and definitely the way to do the Eiffel Tower if one can afford it. Take lots of pics! We learned the hard way, that the way to go is to go for lunch during the week when they have a 3 course lunch deal for 140 euro per person. When my husband and I first went years ago, we ordered off the menu, and it cost us $700 for lunch for the two of us. We quickly learned of the weekday lunch special, and always opt for that when we visit. TRUST ME when I say, this will be an experience you will remember always. The food and service is fit for royalty, the views from this restaurant are mind-boggling, and the private platform is an exclusive treat.
Menu/Food: 3 course Ala Carte lunch menu, you get to choose 1 of 2 appetizer options, and 1 of 2 main course options, then 1 of 2 dessert options. This will be the best $300 bucks you have ever spent! Please post your pics here of your experience...nothing makes me happier than to see people benefitting from the posts here. Live your best life!

I know tickets are released 2 months in advance. My question is specifically:
"What time are the tickets put in the que for online purchase?"

We booked a “skip the line tour” with Viator, about $75 each for 2 adults. Booking is immediate upon payment. You get to go to to the 2nd level without waiting in line. But for 3rd / top, the line is for everyone. Highly recommend Viator and Blue Fox, the actual company that guides you on the tour. Blue Fox guides are friendly, witty and know the detailed history around their tours.

Hello, we’ll be in Paris for three days in mid-October. Unfortunately, tickets are now sold out on the website. Does anyone have an idea of how long the queue will be? We have a 15-month old with us, & want to know if it will be a big wait and therefore have to skip this attraction, else is it possibly worth queuing? Any feedback would be much appreciated!

We had the same situation in June. It was no problem to get tickets, if you don't mind standing in line for about 1/2 hour. To get elevator/lift tickets to the top, you will need to buy in the morning as they do sell out.
I think it's worth it, but know it will be crowded

Ciao,
