Day out at an aircraft museum
Aug 2021 • Couples
For a measly £6 •50 per adult you get to see loads of planes ,memorabilia from wartime and exhibits. A lovely day out rain or shine. You can get a hot or cold drink and cake or crisps which you can eat at picnic tables or take a picnic well worth the money .

Don’t bother

This place is like the scrapyard of parts you’ll find somewhere hidden away at the back of a proper aircraft museum, if your in to your aircraft then avoid the disappointment and stay clear of this place..

Came up from Southend on my motorcycle today, a long ride but we’ll worth the visit. Very friendly lady on reception who was happy to talk about Avro Vulcans while making a drink. Lovely museum with some great aircraft that you can get up close & touch

A welcome return
May 2021 • Friends
It was great to be able to return to this wonderful place, following their recent re-opening. There's such a variety of things to see & touch, including whole aircraft, loads of bits of aircraft, wartime memorabilia, fascinating facts & a lot of random items - I even saw a set of "BAYCO" building blocks, which I remembered from my 1950s childhood

Everything's arranged in a seemingly random fashion, but this only adds to the charm of the place - I could probably go back tomorrow & see new things

All-in-all, this is a great place to visit, even if it's only for the £1 a cup coffee!

Thanks to everyone involved
