About
Say cheers at the Guinness Storehouse in Dublin, Ireland. Housed in an old fermentation plant, the seven-story brewery gives you the lowdown on Ireland’s iconic beer. Start by standing at the bottom of the world’s largest pint glass and then make your way through the different stages of production before enjoying a complimentary pint with a view at Gravity Bar, Dublin’s highest bar. Even better, learn to pour your own pint with the Guinness Academy Experience. The Guinness Storehouse is within walking distance from Dublin city center; tourists can also get there via the hop-on, hop-off bus. Official Guinness Storehouse account. Drink responsibly. Touristy but worth it.
I had heard from many people that this is certainly a touristy thing, but that it would be worth it. It was. You get to see what goes into a Guinness, but the real highlight lays at the Skybar. You'll get amazing views of the city, while drinking a pint. We were fourtnate enough that the weather cooperated and we were treated with 360 views of Dublin. My wife and I opted for the Stoutie tickets, having a printer print a selfie of us on the top of a Guinness (this also comes with an extra drink ticket). Well worth it.
Hello there, We can't thank you enough for this wonderful review. It's so great to hear about your time with us at the Guinness Storehouse and how much you enjoyed both the Gravity and Stoutie Bar. We look forward to welcoming you back again next time, from the Guinness Storehouse Team.

    Actually pretty awesome!
Okay, so you go to Dublin which means you kind of HAVE to go to the Guinness Storefront if you want to be a proper tourist...but guess what, it's actually kind of awesome. We brought our two young kids (ages 3 and 5) and they were entertained enough to get through the self-guided tour. The building is HUGE and well-designed with so much to see that we were never really bored. In fact, we planned to walk through quickly for the kids' sake just to say we were there, but we ended up staying about 1.5-2 hours as there was plenty to explore. Let's be honest, you're going no matter what since that's what a tourist in Dublin is supposed to do....you won't be disappointed.
Hi Lisa, Thank you so much for your lovely review. We are super thrilled to hear that you had such a great experience here at the Home of Guinness and we hope to welcome you back soon. Thanks again, from the Guinness Storehouse Team.

    Fun Tour
Guinness is a very polish public relations presentation of. Guinness. It was a very interesting tour of the 7 floors of exhibits of how the beer us brewed to the pr process. The 7th floor is the best, there is a 360 degree view of the city and free tasting which is included with your admission
Hi Hailey, Thank you so much for such a glowing review. We are so happy to hear that you enjoyed your experience at the Guinness Storehouse and we really appreciate you sharing your experience with the world. Looking forward to welcoming you back soon, from the Guinness Storehouse Team.

It was a good tour to wast some time
This was a good self walking tour. There were 7 floors about Guinness. Each level put it step-by-step on of how it was made. There was escalators on every floor to go up, not down. If you wanted to go down a level or to end your tour you would have to use the elevator. I did not go to the seventh floor because by the time I got to the fifth floor I got tired and just decided to go. The elevators are really annoying because you have to wait so you can fit in the elevator with other people going down or up. On one level there was an option to taste test Guinness. I would definitely recommend that was fun to try. But it was really hot in the two rooms. At the end I liked looking at all the souvenirs that they had on the main level. Once you finish the tour and went outside You can get a horse carriage ride wherever you wanted to go. I did not do that because it was raining the day that I went. It was a nice self walking tour to go on for 45 minutes to an hour. This tour is kid friendly. Personally, I would not suggest this to any of my friends or family (unless they like Guinness.) but it was a good thing to waste time.

    Entertaining and Educational Tour
I'm not a huge fan of Guinness beer, but the Storehouse tour and experience were great. It was really interesting to learn the history of the brewery. Each level of the tour focused on a different aspect of making Guinness, and it was all fascinating. At the end of the tour, you can enjoy a view of Dublin from the gravity bar, and it's breathtaking. Our tickets were for a later tour, so by the time we got to the gravity bar it was pretty packed but we were still able to enjoy a pint (which really does taste better than in the U.S.) and the scenery.

Excellent value for money. Staff were extremely friendly, and their customer service was 5 star. There is a lot to look at so be sure to carve out plenty of time. This was our first trip to Dublin and this is definitely an attraction for the hit list 🍻🇮🇪👏

    Fabulous
Booked on line in advance of our trip. £37 pp. Fabulous experience and would recommend a visit. Learnt about the history of Guinness and the family, how Guinness is made and how to pull a pint 👍, followed by a drink in the bar at the top of the building which has amazing views. Well organised and well worth the money. It took about 2 hours from start to finish but you can take longer if you wish. We drank the pints we had pulled and got certificates and had a complimentary pint in the rooftop bar - all included in our ticket price. There’s a lovely cafe on site too. Beware of the horse and carriage rides at the entrance to the facility - we asked the owner of the horse how much to take us to a drop off point in the city and when we were dropped off, they asked for another €10 and we had a 10 minute walk to get to where we needed to be. This is no reflection on the Guinness tour but to make you aware.

Can’t stop Harping on about this place
From the moment we clocked eyes on St James Gate we knew we were in for an experience to remember. Still had that quaint presence of yesteryear around the place as we were greeted by a lovely lady named Rosie. As we had a wheelchair with us Rosie escorted us into the Storehouse via an easy disabled access route which maintained throughout the building. As we had lots of bags with us Rosie kindly stored them securely at reception & gave us plenty of information for us to enjoy our tour. Learned a few new facts about the history of Guiness & enjoyed a Stoutie each which I must say everyone needs to try….Not everyday you can enjoy a pint of Guiness with yourself smiling right back at you in every sip. Very spacious & very informative throughout. All staff we made contact with were very nice & approachable. Lifts whizzed us from floor to floor until we found ourselves on Seventh Heaven…..The Gravity bar. WOW! A perfect 360 degree view of beautiful Dublin whilst enjoying a nice cold pint of Guiness while the Sun shined through the large pane’s of glass. A must do experience!

Fun, Informative with Great Views of Dublin from the Top Floor
Guinness is quintessentially Irish and this place helps you understand how Guinness is made. Tickets are not inexpensive, but then it does include a Guinness to savor in the end of your tour. Be sure to go to the very top floor and have your Guinness there. The views of Dublin and beyond are great. There are a variety of eateries here too. It's not quite centrally located, but easy enough to get to.

    Great day out with teenagers
Thoroughly enjoyed the self guided Guinness tour. Really well organised tour over a number of floors. Clearly signed and informative. It’s is advertised as taking 90mins. To be honest we spent the whole afternoon here and the time flew by. This is a fantastic venue with amazing staff. We enjoyed lunch on level 5. Food and service fantastic. Finished up enjoying our complimentary drink with amazing city views from the Gravity Bar on the top floor. Absolutely value for money (26euros). Great day out with our teenagers.

This was ok but not great. We were there the week before St Patrick’s Day. Was very crowded. Good information shared but just too much. Liked the testing- they tell you how you are suppose to drink Guinness. The bar on top was so hot and crowded . Son wanted to do the image on top of the beer but line was way too long. We actually enjoyed Guinness during our stay at local pubs way better than this. Store at end was great.

The tour , the music , the dancing was fabulous . We learned from Owen a member of the team how to pull a perfect pint in the Academy .
We had seafood chowder in the Cafe and finished off on the top floor where the views are spectacular .

Super cool looking inside. Once you get inside your tour is kinda chaotic. It’s 50+ people in your group with arrows pointing you where to go. Then you obviously get mixed in with the other groups. Not enough tables at gravity bars. We only tried Guinness - I thought there would be more flavors or something? Idk.

Weather your living in Ireland or visiting from abroad this is a must visit place. Interesting history about the brewing of Guinness the black stuff and also about the man himself. There is some audio around the different levels. Great merchandise shop. Finally the perfect pint in the Gravity bar. We would come back again.

Guinness Storehouse is a tourist activity, if you are looking for museum type of thing to go a learn a lot about the process… skip it.. this is a self guided tour.. around the several floors, you can see how they make the guinness etc etc.. It is very crowded like going to a theme park! but If you like pub vibe, lots of people meet people see performances… and drink !! This is the place..
I personally enjoyed my time there and I went solo..imagine in group must be even better…
The stoutie (pic on your guinness) was the best.. it is not a selfie.. they take the picture for you and print it on top of your beer..
I got to see several perfomances dancers and live music on the floor below the 360 bar, very nice ..
It is a must in Dublin… in my opinion.

Well, this is awkward, but I found it very disappointing.
I did the tour about 15 years ago, and it was a lot better. Then you had a tour around the working parts of the fa tory and actually had a tour guide. You also got a commemorative "pebble" with a drop of Guinness inside. Now you get nothing.
The tour talked about the brewing process and the history of Guinness. There are so many people milling around that it makes it hard to see everything.
We stopped at the cafe halfway round for a sausage roll and a drink, and even trying to get from the counter to the table to eat was difficult due to the number of people.
The Tasting Room was really good. It's so good we did it twice. Naughty.
The first time, both orators were great and went into depth about the smells and what to expect and also about Arthur Guinness and his descendants. The second time, different orators and they didn't go into any depth at all.
We booked the Stoutie experience, which was having your face lasered onto the pint of Guinness, which was a really good touch.
The tour culminated at the top with the complimentary pint of Guinness. This was possibly the worst part. It offers 360-degree views of the city but you can't see as there's too many people in there. Nowhere to sit so people gravitate to the windows to lean against. It was also imme nsley noisy.
We took our drinks to the floor below where there were seats and at least we could talk.
Like I said at the start, it's a little disappointing, and I wouldn't really recommend this as an attraction.

Such a cool experience! Although it’s a “tourist trap” it’s well justified. The building has a lot to offer and the staff are incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and accommodating. If you take a tour of the main building ask for Richie - great guide!

You get to take a self-guided tour through the history of Guinness. It's relatively interesting, but they could have done more with it. Especially the tasting experience can be a lot more (inter-)active.
Drinking a guiness on the 7th floor with a nice view over Dublin is a nice end though.
