The Temple Bar pubs are a must when you visit Dublin. You will experience the genuine Irish ambience with local music, amazing food and really friendly people!

Just another very crowded pub, with very high prices! Adjoining shop with lots of t-shirts and other Temple Bar mementos

Seriously - don't waste your time. Or walk through, take some pics and don't waste your money. You can have a great pint in a dozen other real pubs for half the price and have a much more Irish experience.

This tourist trap in Dublin, you should visit it once just to see it, then stay away. The pubs and restaurants are over priced. If you want to experience Dublin stay out of this location.

Do as the Dublin'ers do (or so we were told). Great area and many stops to have drink and just soak in the atmosphere. It was raining when we hit this area but it was still enjoyable. Just have a rain coat.

little drop in, but bigger than expected - some great unique beers and the food is rather eclectic - its on an "off-street", and I'd recommend sitting inside after dark, but definitely a unique find.

When I was there a couple brought two young kids in (around 6 years old) and they could have a soft drink. It was about 4pm and there didn't appear to be an issue. I think you probably wouldn't want to take them into a bar... More
