The entire shopping / eating experience will head into sensory overload after a little time in Temple Bar. But everybody should do it.

Loaded with tourists, but a fun stop. We visited twice during our week in Ireland. So many pubs, many with music. All of them interesting. If you don't like fun and maybe a pint or two to go with it, skip it. Otherwise, have a...More

Do not hang around here, it maybe the tourist area of the city but it is a giant rip off. The pubs are ridiculously expensive and for the money you would spend you can cross the river to the northside and have an amazing drinking...More

Temple Bar is packed with people, all having a good time, although some too drunk to enjoy it! Live music in some pubs means standing or swaying room only , singing along with the band Everyone smiling! A great night out on the town!

Get very busy here but it's a good night with friends. The locals are very friendly and you always meet new interesting people here. I would come again.

Great place for a Guiness and good music. Visit in the afternoon and you may get a seat. Music every day.

Great bar, awesome atmosphere. Live music. A must seen. You can't be wrong, this bar is so popular it gave its name to the neighborhood.

What a happening place. Ate at the Norseman and another restaurant. Sure it’s touristy. And the pints are more expensive than other parts of Dublin. But it has a cool vibe and felt very safe. Any trip would be incomplete without going to Temple Bar.

When I was there a couple brought two young kids in (around 6 years old) and they could have a soft drink. It was about 4pm and there didn't appear to be an issue. I think you probably wouldn't want to take them into a bar... More
