    A Favorite Stop in Dublin!!!
What a great find in Dublin. The 2 gal bartenders could not have been more welcoming. Their humor, stories & “crisps” kept us entertained. The music was awesome!!! Nothing like traditional Irish music & this was performed so well by the Mulligan family. Sipping a Jameson & ginger in a friendly atmosphere listening to Irish tunes was a great way to spend our last day in Dublin! Highly recommend for a real Irish experience!

    Great trad music
Best trad music sessions in Dublin. They had three sessions throughout the evening with every traditional musical instrument you could imagine, including cow bones! Great singers as well.

Really good for traditional music, if you can get near the band area
One of the best trad music pubs in Ireland. Very friendly atmosphere. The only issue is that the band are in one corner and only audible in half the pub area near them. I was lucky enough to sit directly in front of the band the whole evening and chatted to one of the musicians. If you like Irish trad is definitely worth a visit

If you only visit one pub in Dublin
If you want authentic Irish traditional music in an authentic Dublin pub look no further. Be patient if you want to be close to the musicians, unless you can bring an instrument and join in. Wonderful staff and great drink selection.

    An absolute MUST-GO place!
This is an absolute MUST GO! One of the last remaining truly Irish pubs with LIVE music (avoid the Temple Bar area at all costs, and come here!) The people were amazing, friendly and you literally meet life-long friends here. The music goes right into your soul!

    Authentic Irish Bar
My friends and I had a great time enjoying a cider and a Guinness at this spot. It’s crowded, but doesn’t feel messy in the same way Temple Bar spots do. I would definitely come back here for a chill night out!

    Incredible music
Just amazing to watch the traditional Irish music build. Definitely get there around 9 and plan to stay for a while. It's one big jam session that starts with 2 players, then another and another join until you have 6 or 7 and the place is jumping.

Top notch traditional Irish bar with music.
This is a traditional Irish bar that offers a great range of draught beers. The Guinness was exceptional. Would highly recommend the Zingibeer which is an alcoholic ginger beer 👌. If you go in the evening you will be treated to musicians playing music which was an amazing experience.

    Great Place for Irish Music.
Looking for Irish music, I was so happy to find The Cobblestone just a couple of blocks from my hotel. It seemed really crowded, but I was quickly able to find a stool to sit on. I sat there for a couple of hours, drinking one glass of white wine. Some people were standing along the wall and not buying anything as far as I could tell. A bit noisy, but I could still hear the music ok.

    Drinks at Cobblestone
My favorite pub that we visited in our whole 7 day trip through Ireland! I'm so glad we stopped in. The atmosphere was very homey and cozy, a really traditional Irish pub feel. We were there late on a Sunday evening and it was packed full but not in a way that was wall-to-wall. One of the main reasons we went to Cobblestone is because we read they have gluten free beer on tap. Not only one kind, but three! It was the first stout beer that my partner had had in five years, and she was so excited to get to drink a stout while in Ireland. The brewery was 9 White Deer, and in addition to the stout I believe they also had an ale and a lager on tap. We just barely missed the last band so no live music for us unfortunately, but we still enjoyed our time there. Will definitely be back in the future!

A local tour guide recommended this pub and I’m so glad I listened. The pub is small and cosy. A warm welcome awaits and the traditional music played was wonderful.

To visit Dublin and not sit in a pub and listen to Irish music and songs is to miss the point – in my opinion. The Cobblestone is a local bar that almost always dedicates it front space to harpists, guitar players, singers, and poets. It is lively and crowded but the service is professional and prompt. Great place to visit after dinner and have a Guinness or two.

The best bar I visited in Dublin! The live trad music was incredible, the musicians were so talented. It was absolutely packed but that only added to the great atmosphere, and I was not expecting such a fun night in such a nondescript little bar! Definitely worth a visit if you want to see a more authentic side of Dublin.

Love this place, good atmosphere, nothing fancy, but you feel like you are somewhere special. Had some musicians playing, not tourist capturing stuff, just proper Irish music played by what looked like a few musicians who turned up. Great selection of beers and a nice mix of locals and tourists.

Good music, good pints. We went at peak tourist season so it was rammed. People come and go so you can edge your way closer to the unamplifed music if you're there for a while, to hear it better.
