Attended the Rose Week event which was stunning. As this was a spur of the moment trip I arrived with very little cash. With a young child I knew this would be problematic. I thought if I went to the stables cafe I could pay...More

Very well kept park with on site parking. Beware of the over priced poor serviced café, best to bring a picnic if going out for the day. Wonderful park for the children with a ice cream van there most days.

We had a lovely bank holiday walk starting at Lady Dixon Park, going via Mary Peters Track and then to Shaw’s Bridge. Perfect weather and lovely scenery. Only downside was the middle aged men in lycra who need to slow down on their rarely used...More

Visited this place for the first time in a few years. The first thing I noticed was the scandalous price of the food. The service was really poor, the tables were dirty and when it eventually came, the food was distinctly average at best. I...More
