If you visit Belfast, then be sure to check out Cave Hill! Take a bus from beside the city hall, (ask the driver to let you off at the Belfast Castle entrance)Viewed from the correct angle, the outline of the hill resembles a human face...More

We were really looking forward to having a nice walk with our dog round the country park but we had to cut our walk short because of the amount of dog owners who didn't and wouldn't put their dogs on a lead even when asked...More

The route we took went straight up, but apparently there are easier paths. It is definitely worth the view of the city. It can get a bit cold with the wind on top, so be prepared. There are a few outlook areas great for a...More

Great views over the city and Belfast lough. Some of the worst sign posting that you will ever come across. Google would get lost here. If you survive the directional challenge, the God of lovely views will reward you. If you fail, you will end...More

This is a lovely walk, but can be steep at some parts but benches the whole way up. Takes about and Hour up and then about 50 mins down. Go on a good day with little to no cloud or you will see nothing!

Cave Hill is a beautiful sight to visit, the walk is amazing, we were blessed with a dry day which made it even better. Would highly recommend

Travelling up to this area is a good thing to do when visiting Belfast, the views are fantastic and the history of these caves interesting

Easy walk with a few hills. The cave isn't that high to climb into. The cave itself only goes in about 15 feet.

Anytime I go to cave hill and Belfast castle I am stunned by the views up the lough and across the city. The walks throughout the park are well laid out and offer enough of a challenge in places to keep teenagers interested. Besides the...More

It’s easier on the lower path, it is a proper path and there are places to rest and leads up to the castle itself - I would test it first though as you know your mum better than me!
