This is a must if you ever go to beacon or £8 each for 2 1/2 hours trip you can enjoy a cup of tea ,coffee,drinking chocolate ,cake ,crisp, chocolate or even take your own picnic well worth a trip every one is so friendly

A pleasant 2 hours spent on a day boat. 50 minutes to the first lock. 20 minute picnic and 50 minute trip back. Friendly and helpful service and dog friendly.

Can't remember cost but it was very reasonable. It is not near the Castle Hotel. It is next to the theatre over the other side of Brecon. Probably a 10 - 15 minute walk from the Castle Hotel.
