Fabulous ring making workshop

Had such a great time ring making, throughly enjoyed the experience. Sarah our tutor was lovely, she was really helpful and friendly. I’m really happy with the ring I made and will definitely be back to make another.
Highly recommend the glamorous owl workshop to anyone who wants to give jewellery making a try.

Brilliant gem of a shop

I always visit this shop when I am home I find it well stocked clean and friendly. The staff are honest and the owner is delightfully quirky and welcoming. I haven’t tried their ring making class yet but have heard only good things about it so it is on my list. Fabulous shop and service

Fantastic workshop!

My daughter & I took part in a ring making workshop this morning. We both throughly enjoyed the experience. Our instructor was fantastic, she really boosted my daughter’s confidence and was great fun. We both love our rings and we’re already planning to come back to make a bangle.

A-Maze-Ing!

I heard about this little nugget (pardon the pun) from a friend at work and booked a ring-making session for my sister's birthday. It was such an enjoyable experience, learning new skills and talking to others in the group and the friendly instructors. The whole experience was amazing, brilliant value for money and a fab ring to take home - so precious when you've made it yourself. There were people of all ages there, including couples where the man got wel into the whole process. I have passed this info on to friends who are also planning this event for a 'special' event and we are planning the bangle making class for our mother's birthday soon. A unique experience and also an opportunity to buy the instructor's jewellery products in the attached shop. And although it's not mentioned there is free tea and coffee available while you file, hammer, sand, polish and solder your bespoke item.

Fab silver ring making workshop

Recently treated myself and my friend to the silver ring making workshop. What a great experience! The two instructors were really helpful and friendly. They came round the group a lot to see if anyone needed help. There was around ten pairs of people all together, which was the perfect size for the room and still being able to have access to the instructors. The class took around 2 hours, so there was plenty of time for everyone to complete their ring. It also gave me and my friend the time to chat in between and have a cuppa, as tea and coffee were available. As it was winter the hosts informed us when we booked to wrap up warm as the building can be could. But they also had a heater on inside so we were fine. So impressed with the ring we got to make and come away with, it’s perfect! Would definitely recommend to friends.

Fabulous Ring Making Workshop

The ring making workshop was fabulous. Sarah was very friendly, informative and helpful. The session was very relaxed. Tea and coffee were available. We were advised to wear warm clothing because of the workshop being in an old building but the heaters kept the room warm enough. I would recommend this workshop without hesitation. We will be back to make matching bangles and maybe the pendant. Thank you so much for an enjoyable experience.

Great Bangle Making Experience

2nd visit here! This time decided to make a couple of bangles, easy to book in, staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. Had great fun making the bangles, more so the the rings!

Cold and a bit boring

The ring making itself was actually fun and interesting but we probably only spent 30 mins of just over 2 hours actually doing something. It was a group of 10 in total and one person running it. 30 mins to even get a bit of silver and as there was only one blowtorch it took forever to get us all done. So we were just sat cold and waiting!

The cold was just awful and ruined the experience even more. 2 other parties there mentioned it which I’m glad. But the girl running it kept making jokes about her being like a lizard and she was warm and didn’t know how to use the heater. One by one coats went on to try and stay warm. After a few people kept saying how cold it was and how it was ruining the experience she finally went to ask how to put the heater on. Too little too late as we were chilled to the bone. Took hours to warm up after.

Overall the rings are good and it was a decent price. But needs to be a lot more efficient to stop it becoming boring. Also please don’t freeze your clients as it really isn’t fair!
