Enigmatology Escape Rooms offer a choice of three completely different themed rooms. Test your wits and deductive skills to solve the mysteries before the time limit runs out. Perfect for birthdays, corporate team building or just for some family fun, especially on a rainy day.

Visited with my husband over the weekend. We’re huge escape game fans however it was our first visit to this venue.
We both thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Although we didn’t escape we found the game great fun. The synopsis was well thought out and explained to us at the beginning. The clues and accompanying tasks were very varied and based upon a wide range of skill sets. Some parts were easier and others harder, so they do cater for everyone. The room was set up well with various objects and items. A lot of thought and detail has obviously gone into it.
Clues were provided by the TV screen at the quiz masters discretion depending how well they thought you were performing.
The gentlemen running it was very friendly and chatty and engaged in conversation with us afterwards.
We paid £24 pp which we thought was a little steep compared to some of the others we’ve visited however the more people in your team the less the individual cost per person.
They’re currently only open 3 days a week and only operating one room at present due to covid however they’re looking to change this in the coming weeks.
Despite the slight issue with the price I would definitely return.

Thoroughly enjoyed our escape room experience. Karen and Andy were very friendly and welcoming and explained everything brilliantly. Some puzzles are fairly straightforward while others taxed the grey cells much more and needed us to think differently but the occasional welcome clue helped us on our way and we managed to solve it just in time. We really liked the linear style where we could work as a team and follow the story. We would highly recommend this escape room to anyone. Thank you very much!

We wasn’t sure what to expect. No one in our team had been to an escape room before. The organisers explained how to get the most from the experience before we went in, gave clues at appropriate times via a screen and excellent feed at the end.

We did the third and longest room, having already completed the 2 shorter rooms. Karen and Andy were incredibly friendly and helpful. The puzzles were taxing but not impossible, you just have to think outside the box a little. When we were really stumped we got hints, but not so many so we felt like we didn't work for the victory! In all it was a great way to spend 90mins, and we will definitely go back if they make another room.
We completed the room as a group of 5, which was easier, but my partner and I have successfully completed a room with just the two of us so it can be done!
Also, good value for money which is always a bonus

Absolutely loved our visit this evening. The couple who run the rooms are helpful, friendly and professional. Having done several escape rooms in the past - this one was a delight with many different types of clues and combination locks to solve - something for everyone to contribute to in our team of 6. The fact we beat the clock added to our delight and everyone left vowing to start a savings pot at work so we can return to try a different room soon.

2 couples, did the hardest room not knowing! Despite our best efforts, we fell short with around 15 mins left. The introduction was fantastic and the couple running it where very lovely. We really enjoyed and are looking to do the other rooms ASAP! I would recommend to anyone who want to challenge themselves and the hints were good!

Visited with 3 teenagers and 2 adults, looking for a fun night and something we could all enjoy.
We loved it. Excellent game, well thought out, great clues, hints were given when we were struggling.
The couple who hosted us were very friendly and helpful.

Would this be ok for a group of 13/14 year olds, would an adult have to accompany them?

Hi,
There is nothing unsuitable about any of the games, although the puzzles can be challenging for a younger audience. We have a clue system to help players out but would recommend an adult takes part. Children under 16 must have an adult to remain on the premises although they don't have to join in the game.
