This whole city is stunning, cannot recommend a visit to here enough. Also make sure you explore the shops especially the ones up the small alleyways etc, some real hidden treasures in there. Bought some great clothes here.

The worst Christmas market I have ever seen. Badly layed out and extremely crowded and the stalls were nothing special. Avoid like the plague!

I had a day off and took the train from Warminster to Bath. Incredible history mixed with modern conveniences. The Christmas market was in full swing and well worth the trip. Vendors with local products and from around The country were on display. Not cheap...More

The best way to approach the abbey I think, and very pretty with the stalls for the Christmas market adding to the charm of the lovely buildings here.

Me and my wife had a half day visit to Bath and enjoyed every minute of it. Wish we had spent longer there. Throughout the town we loved all the 18th century picturesque architectures and strolling through them set us back t the time. So...More

I had such a lovely day with 5 friends at the Christmas market. The food and drink was delicious, we bought many gifts and were certainly getting into the spirit of the season. Then we came across one of the grumpiest stall holders I've ever...More

With the centre of Bath festooned with stalls offerings an extensive range of food, drinks, gifts and goods we had a wonderful day perusing them.

One of the best cities in UK for a day trip, there is pretty everything a traveler wants to see - from the natural landscapes to the historical places (Roman’s bath).

With 5 Million tourists a year coming to check out Bath downtown has a real buzz during the day.. Especially in summer and Christmas time. It's great just to walk check out the sites (which are all in walking distance in the city centre)

Sorry. I was there in the spring and am not aware of the Christmas market. RE getting around, the city center is small so things are close together. The city is built on a hill that goes up from the river.

You would have to check opening times but normally 10 or 11. This is due to restrictions on a Sunday
