Cryptic Escape is the first real-life escape game in Norwich, UK. Based in the historic Augustine steward House. You are locked in a room for 60 minutes and you need to find a way to escape. There are a lot of objects, codes, hidden hints, that can help you to get out. You have to be smart and think out of the box to solve the puzzles you find. In a team you have to think together, work together and most importantly laugh together.

Thoroughly enjoyable!

An excellent experience through and through. We booked the Treasure of Greenbeard room and did not regret it one bit: it felt challenging, but fair. The enigmas were fairly varied (even surprising!) and the room required a good mix of skill to get through.

Thanks to Mark for giving a thorough and enjoyable introduction and history of the building. We are inspired to go again!

Awesome Live Action Escape Room

21st Birthday celebration - wanted to do something different - well this did not disappoint !! A fantastic mix of fear and fun!! Highly recommend for those that love a challenge with some fear mixed in!

We loved every minute. We had a great time escaping from the tomb of Akhenaten! Lee was a fantastic host! We’ll definitely be back to try some more rooms!

Getting locked in a separate cage to the wife was an excellent start to the game making sure we had to play as a team from the word go!!! Was a fun filled adventure where time goes quicker than you actually think….

Absolutely fantastic. We couldn’t believe how fast the hour went. Wonderful staff. We didn’t make it out of this room unfortunately. It just gives us another reason to try another room. Better luck next time. I would definitely recommend to everyone.we did The Haunted room.
