Decided to visit this gallery as it had some good reviews. The venue is situated close to South Kensington tune station an is free entry. There a lot to see and some of the stuff on show is quite diverse. We went to look at the Victorian England exhibition.
There seemed to be a lot of school children there on the day we viewed which is good however when there laying all over the floor it makes it a little hard to walk round some of the exhibits. Still I was a child once. All in all quite good. Large shop but it was to busy for me.

Even if you don't have time to visit the museum galleries - do drop in to the shop. Great for presents - both for loved ones back home and for yourself. Wide range of prices so you can always find something to match your tastes and your budget.

As someone else said, beware prices. Written differently and hard to make out. Other than that - it is really a great and different selection. Nothing real too "English" lots that is pretty artistic. Definitely worth a stop. PS Another "Watch It", Check out time, they do!

Every time I am in London I love to explore a bit of the V&A Museum. The higher in the museum you go up, the less crowded it becomes. It also becomes more "real" the farther up you travel. Yes, the dress gallery is interesting, maybe even lovely at moments. But, at all times of my life those dresses were too much for my pocketbook. Yet, I'm certainly sure I could have bought one of the toasters or clocks on exhibit with their sleek lines or WOW colors. Accessible, beautiful, functional.

An above average range of unique or unusual things that go well beyond the category of souvenirs. The Crafts Council is an important component of the arts and design scenes in Britain, and they do a good job of getting their members' work into the public eye.

Quite a big shop and a lot of interesting items for sale. However, many items were very expensive and we were looking for replicas of,say, Thomas A Beckett's reliquary, for example. Many goods were made in China too. There was nothing we wanted to buy.

Some items are ok to buy, make sure you look at the price,i picked up a scarf, reduced from £100 TO £75,I THOUGHT IT WAS £7.99, IT WAS SO SMALL, SO BE AWARE. It was lovely because you could walk in through both ends of the shop. all depeneded which end you were.
