More details and free family days out in Kent & the UK on my blog 'The Frenchie Mummy' and on Instagram @thefrenchiemummy. So Google it and have a look there too. Merci.

I was expecting something quite small looking at the website, but you have 2 floors and a full garden of pure magic.

We actually started the day with the Immersive exhibition The 100 Story Hotel and it was so lovely! My son is a huge fan of Rob Biddulph's books, so it was very cute to walk around this universe. And to solve the mystery.

We stayed another 2 hours to enjoy the magical Story Worlds and the Story Garden. There is so much to do! Crafts, or play... Do whatever you want around the beautifully created world. Plus, you have books all over the place and even storytime.

The place was a total hit for my son. I thought we would pop in and leave, but we stayed the full 2 hours and he was never bored.

Absolutely magical and the staff is lovely and helpful.

A gem in London!

A really amazing place for young children. Recently visited with my 4 year old nephew who absolutely loved it. Friendly staff, interesting story telling experience, amazing outdoor play area and lots of fun indoor activities. Great to see books that show diverse people and families. A must visit place everytime my nephew visits, we will be back!

We recently visited here on a family trip to London and we absolutely loved it.

Our hotel was near the Tate Modern so it was a 20 minute tube ride to Stratford.

We had to book tickets in advance but I don’t know if that’s a permanent thing or just because of covid so I would check before you visit.

Everything inside is amazing. My little girl went mad, running all over and playing with the other children. There is an upper inside play level as well as downstairs and it is all very interactive, colourful and hands on. The outside area has a great slide, little hills for the kids to roll down and a little tree covered area, like a den, that is really good. We was there 2 hours and there was 2 sessions for ‘story time’ which were excellent and everyone got involved.

If you’re in London and don’t want to break the bank, this is a definite place to visit.

My 19th month old daughter loved Discover. We booked for the fairytales exhibition, which is an hour long - we could have staying in there for 3 hours! Dressing up, lights, games, not too crowded, lots of corners to explore - just so much to do and so imaginative!

After fairytales we spent another 2 hours exploring the main centre - there are 2 floors of activities and an outdoor playground. Again we could have stayed much longer. There are slides, places to climb, tunnels to explore, book corners, drawing and crafts, rockets and boats and space ships! Outside there is a whole other world to explore with a dragon, treehouse and wooden taxi!

The pram park and lockers are well thought out too. And lots of spaces to eat a packed lunch.

Only criticisms:

It could have been cleaner. A child had been sick in the basement bathroom - completely normal - but they should have cleaned it up quicker.

There was also a lot of litter (baby wipes from naughty parents) in the playground.

Some of the wooden outdoor equipment is splintering and a little unsafe for little hands - such as the glockenspiel.

And the app is confusing to use to book.

We’ll definitely be back again!

Took my 3yr old and 1yr old to visit. They enjoyed themselve and it is charming. The scenes are imaginative and well done. But its not huge, and the fact you have to pay for adults and extra for storytelling sessions makes it quite expensive for what it is and I wouldnt rush back at those prices. I think it is a charity though so perhaps the money does go to good work (they should probably explain that better if so)

We visited with our 3 year old. All the story times slots were booked out when I booked online. But it was half term, so expected!!! We arrived just at opening time, the reception desk was very busy and seemed understaffed, but the staff working were lovely, and trying their best.
Our daughter had the a really good time. She enjoyed the 2 rooms available and we were lucky with the weather so we also played outside. I would say the rooms are basically fun play rooms, in need of a little work and the outside area was great, but did have rubbish around.
She loves books, she enjoyed the little reading nooks both rooms had! We were a little bored, to be honest - but again, it wasn’t a place aimed at parents, it’s for kids and she really loved it. We stayed about 2 hours and she wasn’t bored once. We also picked up some lovely books in the little shop. Again, waited a while to pay, as reception staff were working hard to deal with everyone.

First time coming here in 8 years as came with a nursery. Returned with my own child who is nearly 3.
Money paid was worth it for the whole day.
It has changed since i was last there but liked the fact that my son could run about and choose what he wanted to do. He liked doing sticking in the creative part. He liked exploring the tree and climbing up the side. He enjkyed the small castle section too. There were not many children there which surprised me but was good as more space. Outdoors was great. Sadly it was wet and muddy but that did not stop my son. He liked climbing and the natural area.
Upstairs he liked the slide and sensory part as well as drawing.
We had a session booked for the tiger that came to tea. Was few people and all squashed in but did not spoil it. We also loved the mog adventure with shops and a bus to drive and area to read.
Was great.
Staff were helpful and friendly.
Great value for money and a fun day out.

I have never come across such a rude and unprofessional reception staff member ever!! When I attempted to communicate with her she pretended she couldn’t hear me! So I tried again louder, she rolled her eyes, kissed her teeth and carried on ignoring me. Such a shame that this experience ensured I would never return there and I will tell others to avoid this place

This was our second visit having been the previous summer. The new themes were equally good as we remembered. A lovely safe venue which has something for all the youngsters. Story telly is amazing as is the craft area and outside okay area. A big plus is that it’s reasonably priced. Book on line for best deal

My husband and I came with our two kid's under 3. I thought the play area's would be so much more spacious and a lot bigger. They are tiny rooms and although my kid ran around, she didn't really know what to do with herself. My husband had to keep her entertained. There's no safe place for my 5 month old to play either with all the bigger kid's everywhere.

The outside play area isn't really for young kid's and has pretty much what the park down the road from us has.

The staff at the cafe are lovely but the food was awful. A very small selection of food and a tiny cafe area.

The gift shop is of course massively overpriced.

We thought we'd try it as it was only a 30 min car journey for us but we can safely say we won't be going back.
