An okay game but I would expect better set build for the price. Some fun/surprising mechanics to the puzzle reveals, and a very good variety of types of puzzles. However, there were quite a few dead zones where we were stuck on a single puzzle with no way forward, and either the gamemaster should have been quicker with the clues or there should be more parallel puzzles to keep the pace going. The gamemaster clued us on puzzles we'd already solved so I don't know how closely we were really being watched. We were entering the last "code" when the clock ran out and we were basically invited to leave, so it was quite a flat low-energy ending! No game debrief or team picture. I prefer Escape Plan Ltd or ClueQuest games in London.

Thank you for taking the time to write us a review. We apologise this was not a 5 star experience for you. We strive to make our rooms and experience the best we can. The points mentioned we will certainly look into. Our gamemaster should also be trained to know when to give hints when appropriate and to certainly offer you a debrief and team photo, we will investigate why this was not the case.

A fun hour spent in the Darkest Hour escape room saving London from a nuclear bomb - it took a little while to get into it (it was the first escape room for 5/6 of us) but then everyone joined in all the puzzles and it was a great team effort. Perfect thing to do for a January family birthday outing. We thought Jose, the games master, could have been more engaging, create the atmosphere and explain things a little more clearly and actually been "in character"

I am a bit fan of escape room. This new room is one of my fav in London. The puzzles are very interesting to solve and unusual to others. If you are looking for something not scary, I will high recommend this room!!

About two weeks ago we visited The Darkest Hour room in Brixton. It was a challenging, well-designed room, especially for 2 players, but we've got out in time, luckily. The ambience and props were engaging and the puzzles were fun and tricky, and our handler, Jahmahreeah did an outstanding job at dropping us into and occasionally helping with the room.

Great fun! Although we didn't escape the Escape Room yesterday, we had a fab time enjoying the experience and trying to solve the clues...the host Jose gave us a few hints as and when needed. Interesting room and props.

Darnell our guide was really welcoming and as 1st time escape roomers he helped to ease us into the start of the game.

Wish we had one minute longer on the clock - which likely meant we would have escaped on time… but it was great fun trying.

Defo recommend and will now try other escape rooms.

We had a great time! Showed up early for a drink and small bite to eat. Great selection of beers and food. The escape room experience was a riot; working together abs against each other but laughing all the way through until we solved the puzzles and “saved London”.

We’ll designed to equally challenge and entertain.

This was the first taste of these escape room experiences and was bit unsure what to expect. Being left in the room was unnerving after our initiation which was scant but sufficient with hind sight. After exploring the room some items started to materialise and with further examination of the information available more items appeared. By judgment (or maybe good luck) a second room opened up with more clues and puzzles to solve.
A great hour to run about and solve all the testing clues.
