This free collection is in the neighborhood behind Oxford Street. It is in an old mansion and has an impressive collection of European paintings. I really loved the Swing and the Laughing Cavalier. They also have an extensive armor collection plus guns, swords and other...More

A fantastic collection. If you can get a guide - do so - makes it even better. And the Cafe is pretty good too

Both the mansion itself and the collection housed there are beautiful and it's hard to believe it's free! It is impeccably maintained and from the quality and the artistry of everything Wallace collected, it is evident he knew what he was doing! We had a...More

We place Wallace Collection a step above other art museums. The paintings, the furniture, the coloured wallpaper, the building itself - all contribute to a perfect whole. You get a feeling of welcome that the other museums don't match. It is an amazing collection of...More

Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods
cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience.
Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged
between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the
southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of
Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as
pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The
bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it

It is fairly large and the size of the crowds does not seem to be a problem at any time.
