Aug 2021 • Couples
After walking up and down on a busy Saturday afternoon. It become apparent that the statue was no longer there which was a shame as we really enter a photo of it. Hopefully it will be reinststed soon.

Fun to see again .

Prime Minister Boris laid out the roadmap out of the pandemic for the hard hit hospitality sector with pubs being allowed to reopen on the 12th of April with outside service only, with this in mind my twin brother Stephen and I decided to visit some of the great pubs our city is justifiably famous for, while wandering down Mathew Street heading to The King John Pub for some delicious beers we passed this statue to Cilla Black.
An animated statue showing the entertainer in her younger years, it's a proper selfie magnet ,in fact we were asked to take a group photo of a group of young ladies with the statue.
A wonderful statue, most definitely well worth checking out if you're in the area and easy to locate along Mathew Street.

The Cilla Black Statue along Mathew Street is a tourist magnet .
Priscilla Maria Veronica White ( 1943 - 2015 ) stage name Cilla Black was a singer tv presenter and one of the most recognisable faces on our screens throughout for decades from the 1990's onwards, a local girl born in Vauxhall ,the statue is well detailed and if your walking down Mathew's Street a pure selfie magnet .
Its most definitely well worth checking out if you're in the area.

One of two statues in the street, the other being John Lennon. A tribute to when Liverpool ruled the pop music world.

Surprise! Surprise!
Aug 2020
Many people just associate Liverpool with the Beatles but there were so many other artists who emerged from this city and many were at the same time such as Gerry and the Pacemakers and of course Cilla Black.

Some generations will only remember her for her TV career with shows such as Surprise! Surprise and Blind Date but of course she had a career as a singer prior to that.

Cilla's statue is located outside the former Cavern Club and well worth checking out on your visit to the area.

Photo Opportunity
Jul 2020 • Couples
What can you say, its a good statue it is found in Mathew Street and there is not much more to say other than a opportunity to take photos. To be fair I yhough it could have been put somewhere more prominent.

Along a lonely Mathew Street, deserted due to the coronavirus pandemic is this statue to Cilla Black .
It's a nice statue, well detailed, shows a young Cilla Black in an animated pose ,its normally swarming with tourists down here getting a selfie took with either the Cilla Black Statue or a little further down Mathew Street with the John Lennon Statue.
Well worth checking out if your in the area.

Not far from Johns Lennon's statue. The Cilla Black Statue is bound to give you lorra lorra smiles.

It is nice that Liverpool recognises its female singers as well.
