lovely day out for all
Oct 2021
I had a marvellous day in the Albert dock, there is plenty of things to do there lots of cafes and shops there museums and we loved the harbour masters house seeing how his family live years ago plus all the museums are free. I think there is something for all ages here and I was glad not to see a single fast food chain in the place

Lovely place

Our first visit to Liverpool and Albert Dock. Loved the shops surrounding the dock, a mix of gift shops and eateries. Perfect spot for a bite to eat and a stroll around the dock.

A great area to stroll around, and take in the sights, or just take a seat and watch the world go by. Recommended.

A breath of air
Sep 2021
I am not a great fan of cities so this area appealed to me. The fact that it is around water gives it an airy feel. A variety of things are in the area including a good museum, art gallery, touristy shops and eateries as well as buskers.

Excellent tourist attraction

Lovely place to walk round. 2 great museums , Museum of Liverpool and Maritime Museum . The basement is where the refugees first arrived. The slavery Museum is on the 3rd floor. Lots of restaurants and cafes. Only downside is a lack of shops. The rents were far too high. The harbourmasters house has a 1940s theme and essential viewing. No charge and none for the museums. The tate modern is here and is interesting. Nothing like Albert Dock anywhere in the UK. Its unique.

A Must Do in Liverpool
Sep 2021 • Couples
We arrived in Liverpool at 8:30 in the morning and decided to walk to Albert Dock for breakfast. We were pleased to see that almost all of the units were full with cafés restaurants, bars and some shops.
It was a beautiful morning and we really enjoyed the atmosphere and a walk around before it became at all crowded. The museums are all closed on Mondays.

Great attraction to walk around in day or evening
Sep 2021
Great place to spend an afternoon.
Numerous bars and restaurants/eateries within the dock to suit most budgets - lots with outside seating to people watch the dock basin.
or you can just walk around free ( no entrance fee) right up to the Mersey for free
Tate gallery too within the dock area.
In the evening - the huge columns are lit up adding to the atmosphere.
A few minutes across the dock road to Liverpool One area and 10 minutes stroll from Caver Walks.
