We picked two attractions to see and this place was one of them.
Kids were a bit unsure at first until they saw olly Murs in the door way and my daughter screamed, they couldn’t believe how real they looked.
There was some great figures and lots of fun photos to take.
Great choice to come here as the kids loved it and laughed all the way round.

Far Too Packed. No Social Distancing
Jul 2021 • Family
Its a while since we last visited Madame Tussauds and since we usually have a laugh we thought we’d have a visit. We booked online and there no queue when we arrived so were shown straight through. Unfortunately that was the most pleasant experience of the attraction. Inside was extremely busy with no one paying any attention to social distancing. It was extremely hot and as much as we wanted to remain wearing face masks it just wasn’t possible. There was also very little consideration in waiting for your turn with the waxworks. We had quite a wait in a queue to see Thor. We didn’t mind waiting as it was all orderly and we got the photos we wanted. However from that point visiting the Marvel area was just a shambles. No one was queuing for the photos and you had families of five plus people pushing in front and all taking multiple photos. We were clearly waiting our turn on numerous occasions yet families just went a head. It got so frustrating that we skipped quite a few of the models. It is quite interactive which would make the experience fun if it wasn’t so busy. Definitely not an enjoyable experience unless able to attend when its much quieter

We visited yesterday (Monday) and had a great time in here! There’s SO much to see and do and the staff are so friendly and helpful. They were really helpful when it came to my baby being in a buggy so they guided us round the best way to go without stairs and to make sure we didn’t miss anything. There’s something for everyone here. Very impressive. The staff took photos of our family if we all wanted to be in it. The only thing I would say is some exhibits are extremely loud for example the Alan Carr exhibit was so loud. I understand why music is loud in other parts but that part just seemed to be extremely loud we probably only noticed as my son is autistic and really had to press his ears until we were passed. I would definitely come back here in future! But I’d remember my sons ear defenders next time, But all in all it was an amazing experience and I would highly recommend this place! It wasn’t overly crowded, I felt perfectly safe. Watch out for “hidden” wax figure as we thought someone was standing in the queue but it actually was Peter Andre wax figure! Was a funny addition as I found myself asking him if he was in the queue haha!

Fun visit, some figures need updating, but overall a great time for the family!
Jul 2021 • Family
Lots of very good wax figures. Plenty to keep the kids entertained, and all in all as a family we enjoyed it.

However…..some figures are looking rather tired and dated. Tom Jones is a very old version of Tom Jones, and the Kate and William figures are not great at all. Russel Brand…..I had to ask my husband who it was supposed to be!lol

Staff in general are friendly, but behind the bar at the coronation street attraction one staff member was so busy chatting to her colleagues that she was unable to tell us which of our drinks were which. We had to have a “taste it and see” session. Not ideal with children in the party.

Overall though, an enjoyable visit.

Had the best time seeing some wax model famous faces! Lots of picture opportunities and nice to be able to go your own pace around the exhibitions with some interactive experiences, ( definitely check out the phone box!)
The mirror maze was short but entertaining, a nice addition!
Great experience

A wax work museum with no chambers of horror!
Aug 2020 • Solo
Very enjoyable, but it's a pity there is no chambers of horror in this wax museum! . Every wax work museum i have visited has it's scary section except Blackpool's and this needs to be reviewed by the owners!
