Complete RIP OFF now.

The lady on the ticket desk was abrupt and rude when asked a question. £42 to get in even if you don’t want to go on the rides, family with grandparents and young kids, most of who will not go on rides but want to watch kids on rides, would have cost over £200 just to watch them.

No longer a family friendly attraction.

Theme park review
Jul 2021 • Family
A great day out but found the cost for the day a little on the expensive side. I am not a keen fan of rides but being in Blackpool my young son wanted to experience the theme park. Having to pay the same rate as those using the rides was a little unfair.

Need to ban smoking in Nikelodeon Land

Need to ban smoking in Nikelodeon Land. Stinks.

Needs to stop and only allow in main park. Pretty disgusting……

Good but used to be great…

Great amusement park that we regularly visit every holiday however;

1. They let in too many people. I was told from a member of staff they normally average 5000-6000 customers. On this visit they had over 7000. Ridiculous, just greedy and also more importantly a health risk.

2. Tickets prices have shot up. I understood when they were limiting tickets sales, but now no excuse. Just greed. No family tickets or day passes for visitors.

We went to Sandcastle across the road and it was night and day with visitors numbers and queuing inside.

I don’t know 🤷‍♂️ if I will visit next time.

Really enjoyable time
Jul 2021 • Family
We spent 2 days in park a Tuesday and Saturday, both were brilliant days. My eldest has autism so we are able to use an easy pass and this is brilliant, made the day a whole lot easier. All staff were friendly and accommodating, one huge thing I noticed is not one judged my son which we have experience of from a different theme park. Just because he doesn't look disabled not one questioned us which again made it easier he didn't feel so self conscious.
We found it to be very clean and tidy, reasonable food prices. The drink all you like was excellent value for money saved us a fortune
All I All we really enjoyed both days can't wait to visit again

A brilliant enjoyable day

We pre-booked for the pleasure beach today and it was excellent. There were hardly any queues with the longest wait being 15 minutes for The Wallace and Gromit ride. We love Blackpool Pleasure Beach as it has a mixture of both old and new rides with the oldest being the Rocket ride. What we liked was the fact that the tea and coffees were so reasonable and not a rip off like most of the other theme parks in the UK.

Not bad but not great

My first visit to bpb and I was pleasantly surprised. Ride queues were relatively short (20mins for infusion). Sadly Pepsi max was closed due to the weather and Valhalla was closed for refurbishment, but we still had plenty to go on and spent the full day here. The park itself is tired and could do with a good tidy up and a lick of paint, but this didn’t detract from an overall good day. Only downside was our wait for red arrows sky force ride. Was advised it was a 15min wait, was actually an hour and then my daughter was unable to ride as she could reach the wing handles, despite being tall enough for the ride. Waste of our time really, maybe something before you join the queue to see if you can ride the planes would be better than waiting until children are strapped into the seats. We chose to wear masks but we’re definitely in the minority. Will definitely return when next in Blackpool

If it wasn’t for that one staff member it would have been an even better day

Just like it was in the 80’s .. now the staff are ruder though!

Visited on 26th July .. bought tickets online using kidspass so was a reasonable cost … was very busy and whisky in there (in fact at Blackpool) it was as if COVID didn’t exist (which is good to a point and bad also)

Queues were ridiculous but to be expected really as ta any other theme park!

Had an enjoyable time and weather helped!

The majority of staff were okay just doing their jobs but there is always that one who stands out due to their complete lack of personal skills and rudeness .. gave his name as David proctor on the steeplechase in fact his colourful language and treatment of my partner ruined our day and I’m thankful we went on that ride later in the day .. actually made a complaint about him (haven’t received a response as yet and reading reviews on Facebook I doubt I will)

Rides were very much like they were when I was a kid with the newer ones obviously being the most popular!

Would go back when it’s the illuminations for a late night ride day and avoid the steeple chase of David is still manning it!

Underrated
Jun 2021 • Family
Have tried a number of different theme parks in the U.K. and abroad, I’ve always felt like BPB gets a bit of a hard time due to the associating of being tacky. It’s not a well polished as Alton Towers, Disneyland and so on but it more than makes up for it by packing some incredible coasters into a very small footprint.

Rides like the Big Dipper will always be classic and new rides like the Icon and Infusion hit the spot if you’re looking for the modern coasters.

Nickelodeon Land is great and the children’s coasters aren’t pathetic and condescending.

BPB probably represents the best value for money for families.
