We visited here with friends last weekend and even though the weather was a bit cold (and later rainy) we had a great time. We arrived just before the dockyard opened at 10.00 am and left about 2.00 pm. However, there was plenty more to...More

Had a great visit with my Dad. Staff exceptionally welcoming & helpful! Site well opened up for comparatively easy access. Must do is a visit to the ‘ropery’…reserve your slot at the entrance…super interesting and a real ‘star’ presenting…!

There’s something here for people of all ages and interests. The submarine is brilliant. We were there for most of the day and could have done with 2 further visits to see it all

2 quality ships and a cold war submarine to explore plus the 1/4 mile ropery which is still in operation make ropes in the traditional way, you'll need a full day for a visit for sure but your ticket lasts 12 months, very highly recommended
