Maintained old town keeping its archi flavour.’ Shops are mainly for gifts and soveneers. Too crowded during sunny days. Better to carry swim suit for kids as they will enjoy walk/ play in shallow river ( max half foot ) water is bit cold though....More

Functional and informative but that's your lot. I appreciate these are busy days for the staff but it costs nothing to smile.

We stayed nearby, a pleasant walk from the centre. The centre has plenty of eating places and is mostly dog friendly. We found people very friendly even though they must get sick of the amount of tourists.

Enjoyed a lovely walk along the little canal/creek through Bourton. Very nice atmosphere, beautiful scenery. Just a lovely village worth seeing in the Cotteolds.
