This lovely little attraction was easily accessed by bus from Torquay town.

It is a good place to visit for any age group and it allows well behaved dogs which is a bonus when you are travelling alone with your pooch. Also there wasn't any charge for the dog to enter, the only place dogs are not allowed is the ensite Cafe.

The model village was very well cared for with lots of exhibits that kept up with the times.
I visited at 10am and found that my dog and I could get around the park easily without having to que up behind other visitors.

I thought the entrance price of £15.00 per adult was a little steep but as it was going to be a one off visit I decided to go.
They only offer 50p discount if 4 or more go if pre-booked, NO discount if you just turn up.

Overall I am glad I went, but the price would put me off taking others with me as there isn't a massive amount for easily bored kids to do there.

Thank you for visiting us and for your review, it is great to hear how much you appreciated and enjoyed the model village. I am sorry to hear that your kids were bored though. All of our feedback suggests quite the contrary and children usually really enjoy the 9-hole crazy golf, finding spotter sheet characters and seeing all the other fun and comical scenes. Sorry if you found it a little expensive, but if I may just mention that we are a unique attraction where everything is hand crafted and uniquely made. With hundreds of models, this comes at a cost when each model runs into several thousand pounds. That said, our admission prices are totally on par with all other attractions in the area, in fact we are a bit cheaper than most. For anyone planning a visit, if you book we do offer a £1.25 per person discount, and then a further 50p per person discount for groups of 4 or more paying. As always, full details and useful tips can be found on our website. Thanks again for coming to see us and we do hope you will visit us again in the future

I love a model village and I’ve been coming here for over 40 years. I still think this is the best in the country and it’s updated and changed so there is always something to see. First time I’ve been since they added crazy golf which was great fun.

Well worth a visit.

I have never been to such a good model village before. There was a lot to see and the pop culture references and comedic touches made me laugh. I hope to go back for the jubilee celebration. There is a discount if you book ahead. The only downside was the cafe which felt a little unwelcoming in the late afternoon.

Great attraction, really well looked after, immaculate, entertaining, clever displays with great attention to detail. Has a fun hour wandering around. Plus a quick bite in the cafe overlooking the model village. Would recommend for all ages.

I hadn't been here for about ten years if not more and decided to take my OH as he'd never been and we came here for a nice getaway. It was a nice relaxing atmosphere as we came in the morning for not too many kids or people. It was a lovely day which made it better. The models are beautifully kept and we could see staff tending to the displays as well which was nice. The mini golf is a short but fun course too which was an added bonus. Its definitely somewhere to take children but a one off visit as an adult is enjoyable too!

One of the highlights of our Easter hols. It was overcast and drizzling when we attended, but our kids absolutely loved it anyway. The Easter egg hunt was a nice bonus as well.

The whole experience was very enjoyable. The expertly created models each depicted a scene which was easily recognisable. A few of the set ups are interactive. The view from the top was magnificent. There are steep parts to walk, but no one is forcing you to rush, and there are benches to rest on if you need to. Crazy golf is a great addition. The gardens were in tip top condition and various water themed areas, along with it's own model steam train. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit, would definitely revisit! 😊

Babbacombe Model Village is cute, quirky and oh so beautiful.

It has the classic charm and wit that model villages all seem to emit, and a touch of luxury provided by the perfectly manicured gardens.

Aside from the village itself (see insta: model_village_jaunt) Babbacombe offers mini golf, contemporary models and indoor dioramas.

We were particularly take by the ducklings making use of Stone Henge!
