The under 5/family performances are so relaxed. Fantastically put together, immersive and just brilliant. A gorgeous little shop and cafe too. The story stomp is fabulous too! Highly recommend.Visited June 2023Travelled with familyWritten 11 June 2023
- Amy E1 contributionBest Place to Be!My views go back to 2014/2015 when my daughter started in their Drama clubs..she has experienced and gained so much from those clubs every week. It is by far the the most fascinating place. We've attended shows, festivals, Mother's Ruin Gin, Raves and Waking of the Trees. We are never disappointed, we come away feeling content and amazed at what we've just experienced. The Soapbox is the best place to be.. You won't regret going.Visited May 2023Travelled with familyWritten 11 June 2023

Nobody cared that the toddlers didn’t sit in silence throughout the play and all three do us had a wonderful hour. We’ve already booked for the Christmas 2023 show and can’t wait.Visited December 2022Travelled with familyWritten 18 June 2023

We absolutely love the Soapbox theatre and try to get to every show that they put on. The performances are creative, funny and memorable…my daughter still talks about ‘Bob caterpillar’ a show we saw over a year ago! We’ve been taking my youngest daughter since she was three months old and she has loved every show.
Each show has been really interactive which gives the children a chance to touch and engage with the characters/puppets/props and this really helps to keep their interest.
And compared to some other bigger theatres like the Theatre Royal it is amazing value!!
See you again soon!
