I remembered these gardens from childhood visits. There are pathways bordered by palms and other exotic plants, Water for calmness. The gardens are well maintained and are a great place to spend a quiet time away from the bustle of town or promenade.
Easy to find, just go up the street by the Queens Hotel off the marine parade. An enchanting garden with a pavillion and a lovely pond. Good planting, lots of shady places and palm plants. Do not miss it, and free!

Morrab garden is open to public so there aren't any tickets. I didn't saw any signs indicate that dogs are not allowed. If you have it on the leash and be prepared to clean any "products" there will not be an issue.
