Although not my favourite genre of art, it was enjoyable to visit and see what others deem to be good art. Not for me maybe, but interesting.

We visited The Exchange Gallery again while on holiday and although it is free, they request a small donation which most people are happy to give. We had tea and cake in the café while enjoying spectacular views of St Michael’s Mount.

A smaller gallery than we had expected and the exhibition was disturbing and though provoking and clearly intended to be so looking at other visitors comments. The cafe was wonderful. Really good choice of sandwiches, soups, salads, cakes. I had a salad with hummus that...More

Cool building but what is in it just does not seem worth a visit, so many other galleries close by to see

Just been to the Exchange Gallery for a lovely music group followed by coffee with some other mums. Unfortunately the female server was so rude we won't be going back and I'd advise anyone with a baby or child that might make a mess to...More

We visited this after just coming from the sister Newlyn gallery. This was equally disappointing but more so as car parking is rather difficult. The current exhibition is uninspiring, although admittedly thought provoking - as good art should be - and there is a lot...More

Wandering around Penzance after a visit to St. Michael's Mount we were seeking somewhere for lunch and came across the Exchange Gallery with a sign advertising "healthy lunches". We decided to give it a go and were delighted we did. The young lady serving was...More

This gallery is just off Chapel Street with one large exhibit hall and a small café in an interesting building. The modern art on display when we were there ranged from intriguing to dreadful (a bare light bulb hanging from the ceiling lit by three...More
