Saw this pub and decided to pop in for a pint , live music venue , quite busy for an early Saturday evening. Card payments £10 or over so be prepared with cash. Good pint of cider and ale

It was Halloween weekend when we visited so plenty of costumes about. This little pub gets very busy but as there is a flow of people you can get a place to sit if needed by waiting. The free live jazz is very good, staff...More

Always good music and atmosphere - try to see Eddy Martin when he's there. If Blues and Jazz are your thing..be there!

Great place, fantastic atmosphere, live music daily but...the beer is served in a plastic glass (if you want to take it outside)! I understand the policy but shouldn’t it be enforced at certain time not all day?! Shame it could have been the place to...More

I'm not sure when you attended but there are times we do use plastic glasses, particularly if sitting outside. During events (such as our Jazz Festival, the Harbour Festival and during the World Cup, for example) we do enforce this all day, even decanting bottled...More
