Having regularly attended the Rose for many years we were shocked to see that it had closed but pleased that it had reopened. Unfortunately the food standards have fallen drastically. Tried the classic burger but it tasted of poor quality meat and there was a...More

Visited the Rose of Denmark on 27th April as part of a memory lane visit. We found everything was first class, friendly and very knowledgeable about the history of the pub which was my parents' watering hole in the 1940s, during and after the terrible...More

Amazing how they do so much in such a small space. Sounds odd but I always feel a bit special when I go into the bar. Good place to meet friends in too

I can't describe the amount of choice you get for the ploughman's. So many cheeses, meats, vegetables and even fish options. Come here for this alone, but enjoy the pub too.
