The Long Bar is an old-fashioned Bristol cider pub, and the nearest surviving one to the city centre. The main drink is 'Thatchers an' slice' (Thatchers Traditional cider served with a slice of lemon in it, as is the local custom). At £2.20/pint it is...More

Cheapest cider in Bristol. Most customers nod in acquaintance as after you've had 3 pints it's hard to remember who you know. Music was good and bar staff friendly. Not sure what it's like late at night but convivial early in evening

I spent very good time in that place, just beers, people and music. If I get back in Bristol It will the first place I'll go!

Thatcher's Traditional and Cheddar Valley on draught, crazy strong cider.Treat it with respect. 3 pints is more than enough for most. Surreal atmosphere - one night 2 shoplifters came in carrying a sofa, and asked if anyone wanted to buy it!

This place is just priceless. And cheap even!! If you want to spend an evening with some true Bristolians, drinking Natch on tap, look no further.

Blackthorn Cider for £1.98! & thats one of the more expensive drinks! You can get seriously pissed here for a tenner, and pull, although look closely for stubble in a skirt after a few! Great pub, good people, dirt cheap, & central.
