We came to listen to Damien Dempsey. It was a great experience.
A note of caution. There's no seating in this venue. At all. Be prepared to stand for the whole concert, unless you have documented accessibility issues, in which case, the venue will help you out.
My husband had recently injured his knee. We were able to contact the venue beforehand, and they were able to provide a couple of chairs off to the side so that my husband did not have to stand the whole time. The staff also escorted us through the crowd to those seats. Overall, the staff was very friendly and helpful.
Drinks were an interesting blend of standard beers and liquors and also some rather indie drinks I'd never seen before. Beers are not ice cold, but that's not unexpected.
I'd happily return for another concert.

Horrible door staff especially the one with the tattooed neck.
We came with friends as we have been for year's but not anymore until they change the bullies on the door.
Spoilt what was a lovely evening.

Great venue, lots of fun unfortunately ruined by discriminatory female bouncer. Would love to return and have a better experience.

Nice intimate venue . Staff very helpful. Acoustics could be better but OK. Watched U2 Experience. Good choice of beers and drinks.

Have been here several times to see various bands. Probably the only large live gig venue left in Bristol now the Tunnels has shut down.
The band were great, but the venue is let down by the bouncers, especially the female one, just generally rude and power mad. One of the bar staff is equally rude.
Will I go back, probably yes as there is nothing else like it in Bristol, and they know this.

We went to The Fleece to see A Band Called Malice who were excellent. Staff all very lovely apart from surly security. This said however, there were far too many people for the space and the drinks were over priced. What totally ruined my evening was a ridiculously sticky floor! I couldn't dance and due to people moving around me I couldn't move out of their way quick enough as I was stuck to the floor.!! Therefore, I was trodden on several times. In the end I sat outside for the second half whilst my husband stayed inside. Totally rubbish and to a large degree spoilt our evening.
Will I go back - no chance. Seeing as they were celebrating 10 years maybe they could give the floor a good wash so people can really enjoy the gigs they have on offer.

The Fleece, well where to start! I was really surprised it’s a great place! I’ve not been before and I turned up and thought “Jesus” I’m in a mosh pit and I’m going to catch something because how dinghy the place is! But I had a really good night! The staff inside the venue are awesome and very helpful and the acts the fleece has on are very good! One drew back and a big dent in what would have been an excellent night out is the female door staff has a massive power trip and a god complex thinking she can bully people and gives everyone a dirty look like we have ruined her night by just being there, and then the way she talks to people is disgusting and she shouldn’t be anywhere near a job where she has to deal with the public! Overall I would say go and enjoy yourself but stay away from the female door staff and everything will be fine!

I’ve been here 3 or 4 times now and everytime it’s the same issue. The bouncers are vile, violent thugs. Avoid coming here at all cost. They made me and my and my friends feel extremely uneasy and it was a horrible experience.

Great venue, good music. Unfortunately night ruined by one very rude female bar staff, she was repeatedly rude to me and my friends. She was the lady with a nose ring and tattoos, avoid at all costs unless you want to be abused! Such a shame as all other staff were lovely

Looking to buy tickets for The Other Guys tribute to Frankie Valley and the 4 Seasons, but nothing about seating on their site. Is there seating or standing only?

I'm coming for an event in August, bringing my mum but she's disabled. Is there any suitable parking nearby please?
Chris S
Bristol, UK4 contributions
Street parking is available immediately outside the venue and in the surrounding streets and is free from 6pm Mon-Sat and all day Sunday’s. There is plenty of parking available so you will never have to park more than a couple of minutes walk away. If you would prefer to park in a secure car park, the nearest multi-story is located 0.4 miles away on Queen Charlotte St (off Baldwin St). Or alternatively Cabot Circus car park which is located 0.7 miles from the venue.
If you need parking with charging points for electric vehicles please use the link below and enter the venue post code – BS1 6JJ
