Lots of displays and more information than you can absorb, much of which might run contrary to any preconceived ideas you might have. I enjoyed having my mind expanded and thought much differently when I left than when i entered...

A sign on the pavement leads you to a doorway which houses the Palestine Museum. You ascend several steps in an entrance way which doesn't exude confidence, and you will find this interesting museum and art gallery. There is not much there, but for all...More

I had no idea this museum existed until I stumbled upon it by accident. And what a find! Whilst the displays are admittedly amateurish, they are detailed and rich in text and illustration. There are plenty of leaflets and cards for visitors to take home...More

I only visited the little restaurant and not the cultural centre but I intend to do this next time I go to Bristol. The restaurant is a little gem, homemade food cooked with love and a great selection of speciality teas and homemade cakes. Lovely...More

The museum mostly consists of printouts stuck on the walls of a staircase and one large room and stretches the definition of a museum. The information gives a very distorted and anti-Israel picture of events. You'd do much better just using Google if you want...More

I was amazed to find this little museum in Bristol. Only open saturday and sunday, this is a real gem and wonderful that the people of Bristol have a chance to be educated on the history of Palestine. Its free and the staff/volenteers friendly and...More

Can't travel to Palestine? This is the next best thing! A must-visit place if you come to Bristol. Highly informative. As well as dealing with issues relating to the conflict also highlights Palestinian culture with displays of food, poetry, embroidery etc. They also have occasional...More

Anyone wanting to present an issue as complex as the Israeli-Palestinian conflict would at least try to show both sides of the situation. The 'Palestine Museum' makes no attempt to. It is a tub-thumping exercise for the Palestinian cause that makes no reference to their...More
