Brendon is such a good tour guide, he is so knowledgeable and really explained everything.
The park is so nice and big with a large variety of crocodiles, an alligator and Iguanas out there. Inside there are snakes, spiders and baby crocodiles that he allows you to hold and touch.
Definitely a place to visit.
The curio shop sells crocodile items such as biltong, pate, fridge magnets and ornaments.
There is also a restaurant and snack area.

don't live too far away from this place, and discovered it quite by accident. Nice and clean, and large enough not to be crowded. There's a very knowledgeable guide who gives a talk on reptiles, and allows you to touch them. I didn't know about the pizza restaurant on the premises, but we had packed a picnic lunch. We'll try the pizzas next time. Loads of tortoises and rabbits running free too. There's a zip line over the croc ponds for those who like a little thrill

I had a horrible experience at this reptile, they are very racist. From the moment I got there I was incredibly uncomfortable and couldn’t tell what it was until I overheard one of the employees telling someone to “watch out for the black people” as we are apparently thief's.👎🏽 we shouldn’t be dealing with such nonsense in 2024. To all my fellow black people who would like to go, I hope you find this helpful

This was a great outing with the kids. The guides are incredibly knowledgeable and their passion shines through.
Brendon has so much knowledge to share. We really enjoyed his guided tours
There’s plenty of shade and jungle gyms for the kids.
They also have the best pizza I’ve had in a long time. Oscar is a pizza master chef. We’ll make the trip even just for the pizza.
This was a great experience and we’ll definitely bring the kids again.

We visited the park on a Sunday at midday on a long weekend. There are supposed to be tours every 30 minutes. We were directed at entry to the waiting area for the tours being told it would start in 10 minutes. The tour started 20 minutes late. The guide rushed through a quick tour in 15 minutes showing us only the croc enclosures. The small reptile enclosures were locked/inaccessible. Why this would be the case at 1:30pm when the place was busy was not explained, only that we wait - again. It’s a pity because the grounds were well-maintained and the crocs healthy.

What a fun day we had with our school's Grade 0 learners ! Informative and not too far from Sandton. The children were amazed at the crocodiles and other reptiles they saw and were able to touch. Small groups of 20 were taken around by the guides who had a good knowledge of the topics at hand and kept the children interested. The eating area was great and the ablutions clean. We are going again at the end of March 2015.

Visited Croc City with my husband and 2 children (12 and 9) on 3 Jan 15. Both boys rated the zip-line in their top 3 things that we did on our 2 week holiday. Not particularly big so plan to spend a leisurely 2 - 4 hours there including a meal. The size may be appealing to those who have mobility problems. Great variety of snakes and other reptiles although I'd like to see the chameleon in a bigger cage. Guide was informative and professional. Lunch was very good with very attentive, friendly waitresses. The gift shop is well stocked with some unique options and the toilets were clean and easily accessible. We enjoyed our morning there.

We had an interesting visit to the Crocodile City and Reptile Park, a couple of weeks ago. The entrance fees are R 70 pp and R 50 for children under 12. We reached just-in-time, for a guided tour, where the guide showed us crocodiles of different ages, in separate enclosures, and provided useful info about them. The park area is not very big and the tour barely lasted for about 15 mins.
We also visited a separate section where poisonous snakes and reptiles are kept in glass enclosures. The friendly guide here removed a baby crocodile from its enclosure and let us hold and touch it. The same was done for a small non-poisonous snake and a python which the guide placed over my shoulders (it was quite heavy, about 20 kgs). There is also an open section outside where you can see some reptiles like the iguana and the chameleon.
I tried the Croc City FlyOver (Zip Line) which runs over the crocodile pools and it was fun. If you have already tried the Zip Line earlier (I did), then you may not find it thrilling enough. There is a nice play area with a mini-zip line for small kids. It is also pleasing to see a couple of tortoises and rabbits moving around in the open area of the park.
We relished eating at the restaurant; the pizzas were superb, the crocodile fillet (tasted like a combination of chicken and fish) was nice and the drinks were refreshing.
Overall, the baby crocodile interaction and the FlyOver were the highlights of this visit. I would recommend going here only if you have a lot of time and have exhausted most of the popular tourist options. Another suggestion is to group this with a visit to the Lion Park, which is close-by.

My partner and I took our son to the croc city crocodile and reptile park. The price was a low R70 for adults and R50 for kids. We went on a Sunday just in time for the 11am snake show. We got to touch the snakes. After the show there was a tour of the huge crocodiles. We also got to touch a baby crocodile, small snakes and a Burmese python. There's a restaurant as well as park on the premises. They even do kids parties. Definitely worth it.

Apologies for only responding now, just saw the message. No the crocodiles only get fed on Saturdays and Sundays at 14:00. Due to the fact that they are cold blooded it takes roughly a week during the summer months for their food to digest.
We do however have guided tours every half an hour daily and in addition to public holidays we have a venomous snakes show from 11:00 - 12:00 that are very popular.
Hope to see you soon.
Regards
Anton
